I have some question.
Why the heck do people like bands such as disturbed?
They always refer to blood and kill.
That's not normal.
The beats are not "catchy"
That "scream" they do sounds horrible.
Tell me why do you like such bands.

Another question:
What do you think about "emo" culture? Do you think they are ALWAYS whining about their life and what they will do?
Do you AGREE with emo culture?

Those are all the questions.
Please take a look and answer them and please, do not flame me.
Many thanks.

Posting my egg here by the way..

Disturbed is not about blood and whatnot. Other metal bands? yes indeed. look a bit heavier, and you find my favorite band, dethklok. Disturbed, however, is not screaming. Quite the opposite. listen to "another way to die" and you'll understand how harmonic he is.

I'm no advocate of disturbed. they're up there on my favorite band list, but they're not too great. anyway, I haven't found one song of theirs about blood and kill, well, a few innuendos towards it, but not the main focal point. listen to the song "indestructible" and you'll find its quite the song for encouragement.

and emos? meh. I don't like 'em, but if they just keep to themselves and dont parade it, i'm fine.

oh, and how songs relate to "blood and kill" aren't normal? there's this thing, called evolution. It's where things that aren't normal survive longer and better than other things. not being normal is good.

i experience the same questions about rap....things sound different to different people, its arrogent to think that what you dont like is bad to everyone.

As for emos, they have a mental disorder, their brain produces too much seratonin, and has trouble making dopamine. they are extremely pessimistic, they cant see anything good in any situation, and when something bad happens, they think its the end of the world, whether it is or not.

For those who dont know, seratonin is the chemical your brain that makes you sad, depressed and calm, and dopamine is the chemical that makes you exited and happy.

i dont like emo attitude, they enjoy to suffer and thats not normal, done.

Quite the opposite, they hate suffering, which is why they are usually sad and/or depressed. And 'normal' is an opinion, you may think of walking now the street with an ak-47 in your hands as abnormal, but in Pakistan (for example) it is probably a normal thing to see/do.

whether you like it or not, what you have stated is not nearly 'done', or as i believe you were implying 'all that should be said has been said' there is alot more to emos then it seems anyone on this post knows, and i believe that you guys should either research emotions a bit deeper or learn from experiences, i have done both.
