You can never trust computers with Viruses aimed at them. Sure your computer is better off with the virus protector. The Virus Protector is like a big hunk of worthless metal, you can't move it, it does nothing, and it's just a big hunk of useless material that takes up space.
I honestly wouldn't care, McAfee or whatever is on my Dell, but 99% of the time I'm on a Mac.
And regarding the Chrome Threads... Why do you hate Apple so much? If price had no value, would you still hate them? I love the sleek design, the amazing resolution and so-on. Don't be a hater. And I have nothing against Dell's, for the most part.
omg... i have symantic endpoint and it catcches everything, and i think its free... not sure, but this thing found 63 viruses on my computer i was amazed, horified, and mad at that fact i know i didnt do it...

This isn't a thread about your opinions on other anti virus software. It's about your opinions on Norton & AVG.

That type of humor is quite pathethic in my opinion. Anyway, I used to have Norton then AVG and now i'm using esetNod32. And I can say that the third one is the best for my PC. To sum up: AVG vs. Norton --> AVG AVG vs. EsetNOD32 --> EsetNOD32
