Hey, thanks for taking the time for checking out my thread!

I have a couple game ideas, and I don't exactly know how to use actionscript other than using the interwebz' codes...

What I'm looking for:
- Knowledge in EITHER actionscript 2.0 or 3.0
- Patience
- Kind

What I will be doing:
- All of the art
- Learning code! (hopefully)

About me
- Patient
- Kind
- Decent artist
- Very determined

Advice: Looking for help here wouldn't be a good idea. Either contact developers directly, or go to a different forum.

If I was looking for a collaboration I'd go to NG or something. Or maybe somewhere else.

I see it's usually the developer hiring an artist.

Shouldn't this be in the programming help section? Methinks you'd have better luck there.

It's not often developers come looking for people to collab with. The Programming section we have is mostly populated by occasional discussion and programming troubleshooting. I advise one goes to multiple sites to find someone to work with.

Yeah, I know they usually contact artists. But hey, what am I supposed to do. If I don't ask, it won't happen.

I was thinking of placing this in the programming subf, but as Knight mentioned, it's mostly filled with code problems and questions...

I'll go try Kong, because I know they have a Collaboration thinger.

Acctually, that is not a bad Idea! Get AG to sponser it, if they will collab with you...

I'll probably try to get my programmer dude to submit it exclusive to Armor Games. ^^

But then again, if the person is from Kong, they might not like that idea too much.

Yeah.. Unless AG gives a lot more money.

Maybe a temporary exclusive. Have your game only on AG for two weeks or so.

Getting your game sponsored is actually pretty hard. You need a pretty good game, that the people at the company think is so good, they can post it on other websites with there name at the begning, so little noobs go "DIS GAME COMED FROM DAR?!?!? DAT PLAC3 MUT P3WNE! *clicks link to site*"

So yea. I mean if you can actually make nice pixel art, in a good format, and can convert files, it could work. BUt yeah. Here is probably not the best place to ask.

BTW....Don't back seat mod. IF a thread needs a lock, it will get one. Don't comment simply to say something needs banned.
