^This is about a 200 year old pecan tree that fell through my house around 7:45 AM Saturday morning. We received over 8 inch of water in some places in 2 hours.

I'm glad we don't have much troubles with the weather in our country. Still feel sorry for you!

Time to refurbish your home with new pecan furniture.

At least it wasn't termites. Still sucks nonetheless.

Yes, now I have construction workers all in my house. If I die of mesothelioma I am going to haunt some people to blame.

And yes, it's funny you say that Gantic. I already sent about 3 tons of wood to a furniture builder!

But no fire wood, I'm in South Texas. Christmas day is usually in the 60s.

Naw I feel sorry for you . In Australia we don't get much of that depends. We only get Flooding , Drought , Cyclones & Hurricanes . We get trees falling through houses occasionally.

Holden, it's pretty much the same here. This was a freak thing. I live in the desert practically. We normally are in a terrible drought at this point. Praying for the rain in hurricane season in September.

DAMN YOU EL NINO!

South texas, ash? I live in north texas. We got some hefty rain a day ago or so, but nothing like that.

Man, that's rough... I hope you can fix that without any problems.

Yea, I'm down here near Port Aransas. It kicked our butts down here. It acted like a hurricane.

But remarkably. They have fixed everything so far. Except half the tree still needs to be taken down.

Like, by corpus christi? I vacation in aransas each summer. I did go during a pretty rainy season. Got really rough. Of course, that was right on the island.

...at least pecans are delicious, eh?
