1--Adonis Luxury Resort
1. Go up the stairs until you reach the doorway encrusted with corral.
2. Use your drill (Right Trigger) to clear the corral out of the way.
3. Crouch (Left Stick) to get past the fallen pillar blocking the hallway.
4. Continue down the hallway and into the Adonis Baths.
5. Go around the pool on the left side.
6. Pick up the game's first diary, "Attention: Workers," which is leaning against a pillar just short of the broken generator.
7. Cross in front of the doors to the corner on the right for some items.
8. Go through the door marked Plasmid Therapy.
9. Take out the splicer just inside the passageway on the left.
10. Go back to the right, to the door marked Sauna.
11. Enter the code found on the sauna door, 1540, into the combination lock to access the diary "Fitness," and the other items inside.
12. Go back to the door on the left and head down the hallway on the other side.
13. Stop at the desk opposite the large neon Plasmids sign.
14. Search the cash register for some money, and use the EVE dispenser behind the desk to stock up. The dispenser has unlimited EVE, but you can only carry five hypos.
15. Keep going to the end of the hallway, and search the rooms on either side for items.
16. Take your first plasmid, Electro Bolt, from the Gatherer's Garden.
17. Chase the Big Sister back the way you came.
18. Use your plasmid (Left Trigger) on the broken door control switch to open the door.
19. Take down the splicers in Adonis Baths.
20. Hit the broken generator with an Electro Bolt to open the previously locked door to the left of the pool.
21. Go through the unlocked door, and hang a right at the top of the small set of stairs. Go down the tiled bathroom hallway and search the small area there for items, and for the diary "To My Daughter," then go back down the bathroom hallway.
22. Turn right, then left, and go through the large door just past the window.
23. Hit the splicers in the water with an Electro Bolt. Make sure to let the electricity die down before you search them.
24. Go around the pool to the right. Check the bench just past the door for the diary "Return."
25. Go through into the next room, and pick up the rivet gun blocking the door there.
26. Try out your new weapon on the splicers on the other side of the door.
27. Check the rooms to either side for a first aid kit, on the left, and ammo---and the diary "They Called it Rapture"---on the right.
28. Go through the next door, and battle the Big Sister. Don't worry, you won't have to take her down all the way. Just do as much damage as you can, and stay alive.
29. Once the big sister has run away, search around the room before following her. You should find some ammo, some first aid, and the diary "Generation."
30. Follow the Big Sister through the doorway she smashed open, and down the hallway on the other side.
31. In the banquet hall, hop down onto the main level.
32. Follow the arrow across the sea floor, toward the airlock.
33. Crouch down and search the corpse in the wrecked bathysphere to find the diary "Escape from Rapture."
34. Continue on until you enter the airlock. Pull the lever there to reenter Rapture and finish the first level of the game.

2--Atlantic Express
1. Leave the airlock and go down the hallway, searching the lockers on either side for items.
2. Go into the workshop to the right of the locked door, and pick up the hack tool.
3. Use the tool dispenser on the wall to max out your remote hack tool ammo.
4. Aim through the broken window and shoot the door control box. Hack it to open the door, then go through and continue on.
5. Hack the security bot on the ground, and bring it with you into the train workshop. Take out the splicers there.
6. Go into the side room on the left, and search for items, and the diary "The Great Chain Rattles."
7. Go back into the main room, and through the door marked Gate Control. Pull the switch.
8. Survive the splicers' attack long enough for the floor to collapse, dumping you into the water below.
9. Follow the flooded tunnel and return to relatively dry ground.
10. Hack the security camera, and fight the splicers with its help.
11. Continue on through the drafting room, and pick up the Telekinesis plasmid from the little red wagon.
12. Turn around and backtrack a bit, back to the stairs where you emerged from the water. To your left is a large fan; use your new Telekinesis plasmid on the fan to get the diary "Mr. Tape Recorder." Then turn around again, and head in the other direction, past the little red wagon, and through the door to the left of the Jet-Postal sign.
13. Go up the stairs and onto the walkway, where you can try out Telekinesis on the oxygen tanks there, and the splicers below.
14. Get the diary "Just a Fad" on the drafting table on the left.
15. Go downstairs and across the large room below, searching the dead splicers and battling any that are still alive.
16. Go into the cafeteria and collect whatever food and ammo you need. You'll find the diary "Ryan vs. Lamb: Reality" all the way at the back of the cafe.
17. Return to the workshop, and move down to the end of the room. After the splicer appears and throws a wrench into the works, turn around and find the diary "What Happened to the People" just across the room, in a suitcase underneath the decorative bottles.
18. Follow the arrow into the bathroom; looking through the broken section of wall, use Telekinesis to remove the pipe from the gears, opening the door to the next area.
19. Go up the ramp to the left, then down the stairs, and find the diary "Know the Beast" on the overturned filing cabinet.
20. Cross to the right-hand staircase, and visit the Circus of Values vending machine at the top. Hack it if you wish, then continue on, up the staircase and into the switching hub.
21. Battle through the onslaught of splicers. Watch out for the security camera on the right, not far past the entrance to the area; destroy or hack it, or security bots will be added to the splicers.
22. Get in the elevator, and press the button.
23. When the elevator arrives, gather up the trap rivets that are blocking the stairs.
24. At the top of the stairs, turn left, then left again, into a small side room. Search for items, and for the diary "Improving on Suchong's Work."
25. Follow the arrow into the next room, to the large metal door marked Atlantic Express.
26. Go through the door, and find the intercom button on the right side of the next room. Press the button.
27. Take out the horde of splicers. If you have time, hack the security camera to the left of the door.
28. Once you've cleared the splicers, search the train station for items, and stock up at the Circus of Values. Find the diary "The Situation" on the left side of the benches in the center of the room.
29. Climb on the train and hit the switch, finishing the level.

3--Ryan Amusements
1. Head through the door and up the stairs.
2. Find the diary "Eleanor's Progress" amidst the candles on the altar.
3. Go through the security monitoring room behind the ticket counter, stopping at the Power to the People station to upgrade one of your weapons.
4. Find the diary "The Old Sheepdog" at the bottom of the next set of stairs.
5. Aim a remote hack tool through the broken window to release the door.
6. Pick up the ticket from the desk on the left side of the room.
7. Retrace your steps through the security room. Kill the splicer who's just smashed the glass, and grab the machine gun from the display case.
8. Deal with the splicers, then put your ticket into the machine to open the door into Ryan Amusements.
9. Pick up the Sports Boost tonic, then turn left, and follow the hall out into the main room.
10. Go through the door into the El Dorado Lounge.
11. Take the Drill Power tonic, and the diary "Eat Dog," from the wagon, then head down the hall and up the stairs.
12. Take out the Big Daddy. He won't consider you a threat until you attack, so take some time laying trap bolts. There's a Health Station and a Circus of Values to the right of the bar, and the diary "'Child' and Guardian" in a booth on the far side of the room.
13. Try to lure the Big Daddy into the fountain, or one of the puddles, and hit him with an Electro Bolt, damaging him and giving you time to use other weapons on him.
14. Once you've defeated the Big Daddy, adopt the Little Sister.
15. Hold down the X button to get the Little Sister to guide you to an ADAM-filled corpse.
16. Follow the guide downstairs to the corpse, then set up trap rivets to defend against the rush of splicers who'll appear when the Little Sister begins harvesting the ADAM. Use the nearby Ammo Bandito and Circus of Values machines to stock up on first aid, EVE and ammo.
17. Press X to set the Little Sister down on the corpse, where she'll begin gathering its ADAM. Protect her from the splicers who show up.
18. When the Little Sister is done harvesting the ADAM, make sure you return her to your shoulders. When you've killed all the splicers, hold X again and follow the guide through the newly opened doorway.
19. Downstairs, just before you enter the Journey to the Surface ride, turn left, and go through the small opening in the wall. Turn left again, and go through the door into the maintenance room, where you'll find the diary "You, Me, and 1959."
20. Switch to Telekinesis as you enter the ride, and use it to repel the large sphere that comes hurtling down the ramp at you. Take out the splicers at the top of the ramp.
21. Head into the ride, battling splicers as they appear.
22. Hop the barricade just past the farm diorama, and turn right, into an open doorway.
23. Hack the turret inside, and watch it take out the splicer.
24. Stock up at the Ammo Bandito machine, and be aware of the Health Station on the other side of the room. Set the room up to your satisfaction, then go to the corpse on the floor near the turret.
25. Pick up the diary "Escape Plan" from beside the corpse, then set the Little Sister to harvesting, and defend her from the splicers.
26. When the harvesting's done and the splicers are dead, leave the room by the doorway right next to the Health Station, and turn left. Go a few feet until you see, on your right, the diary "Lamb the Problem, Sinclair the Solution." After grabbing it, turn around and head down the tunnel.
27. Just past graffiti reading We Will Be Reborn, on the right side of the tunnel, go through an open doorway, up the stairway inside, and over a balcony to a small room where, on a desk, you'll find the diary "Truth is in the Body." Then, return the way you came to the main tunnel.
28. Just past the artist diorama, duck into the alcove on your left, and follow it down the stairs to a Health Station and Ammo Bandito machine. Then go back upstairs to the main tunnel.
29. Go through the maintenance room, and find the vent all the way at the bottom. Rescue or harvest the Little Sister.
30. Head back upstairs and into the main tunnel, battling whatever splicers appear.
31. Go into the diorama of the family, and turn right, through the doorway in the wall. Climb up the giant arm, and follow the scaffolding to the diary "Deterioration," and, a bit further on, to some ammo. Then return to the diorama.
32. Go through the maintenance door, and upgrade a weapon at the Power to the People machine. In an alcove to the right is a Circus of Values, and the diary "Working for Sinclair."
33. Continue on through the back rooms, searching for items. hack the safe if you wish.
34. Go through the door, which will put you back into the main tunnel beyond the obstruction. Watch out for the security camera just around the bend.
35. Under the camera is a broken section of wall. Go through it, and use your drill to shatter the wooden planks on the doorway inside. Get the diary "Doctor Lamb" inside.
36. Go through the maintenance door on the left, and pick up the diary "Efficacy." Then head down the hallway.
37. Pull the lever to open the door. Before following the arrow, go back down the stairs leading to the entrance to the ride. Straight across from the bottom of the stairs is a doorway, previously closed, but now open. Inside, find the Booze Hound tonic, plenty of booze to try it out with, and the diary "Dating Tip."
38. Go back upstairs and into the Hall of the Future.
39. Hack the turret to take out the splicers, and continue on. Stop at the vita-chamber and pick up the diary "A Father's Love."
40. Go to the Gatherer's Garden and buy the Incinerate! plasmid. Head back the way you came.
41. Use Incinerate! to melt the ice blocking the doorway on your left just in front of the door, past the giant bust of Andrew Ryan. Inside, find another Gatherer's Garden offering different upgrades, and another block of ice which can be melted to release some ammo.
42. Keep going until you reach the main hall, where a Big Sister is waiting to fight. Take her down any way you can. Look for the diary "Volunteer" under the bench in the middle of the room.
43. If you haven't yet, visit the Gift Shop before you leave. Upstairs, in the room to the far right, you'll find the diary "Cutting Corners." In the basement, hit the door control box on the dames' room to get in, and pick up the diary "Rapture is Deliverance."
44. Follow the arrow out through the park entrance. Melt the block of ice next to the Circus of Values to get a bunch of items, and the diary "Disappeared."
45. Get back to the Train Station, and hit the ice blocking the tunnel with Incinerate!, clearing the way.
46. Go into the security booth and pull the lever to restart the train.
47. Take out the splicers that show up when you pull the lever. After they're out of the way, look for an open door under the arrivals and departures board on the south wall of the station. Search the room inside for items,and the diary "Wooden Nickels."
48. Get on the train, and pull the switch to finish the level.

4--Pauper's Drop
1. Leave the train and follow the arrow to door control box. Hack this to gain entry into Pauper's Drop.
2. Follow the arrow down the hallways, and take out the group of splicers worshiping at the shrine. Use Telekinesis to grab the items locked away in one of the cells in this room, then continue on.
3. Go into the Fishbowl Diner, and pick up the shotgun, in the corner next to its former owner. Get a sense of the new weapon with the help of the splicers who burst in from the roof and doors.
4. Shoot the trap wire in the doorway, then go out the back door. Turn right, and watch out for the security camera on the back wall of the diner. Go into Marlene's Flower Emporium, and pick up the diary "Ryan vs. Lamb: Religious Rights."
5. Climb up the wooden walkway to the roof of the diner. Cross the roof, being careful of the turret just around the corner on the left. Cross the walkway leading to the top of Marlene's, and pick up the Hacker's Delight tonic, and the diary "Better Times with Lamb."
6. Drop down, and go through the door marked Sinclair Deluxe. Go through the tube to the next door. Go through the set of white doors, and check the rooms to either side. Find the diary "Wrong Side of the Tracks" in the room on the left. In the room behind this, find a safe.
7. Go back to the diner area, to the Gatherer's Garden machine. Upgrade yourself, then head downstairs. Fight the Brute Splicer, and the lesser splicers who come bursting through the wall.
8. Search the room for items. At the northeast corner, find the diary "The End of the Line."
9. Look for the diary "Clinic Code at the Fishbowl" right next to the door to the clinic. Enter the code 0047 into the keypad, and go through the door.
10. Go up the stairs, being careful of the splicer and security camera at the top. At the top of the stairs, turn left and go straight ahead, through the break in the wall, across the wooden walkway, and inside the next building. Use the Power to the People station here, then go upstairs and through the door on the right, into the office, where you'll find the Shorten Alarms tonic and the diary "Camera in Hock."
11. Exit the office and go straight ahead, out through the broken wall and across the walkway. Kill the splicers at the shrine, and pick up the diary "Arrangements." Turn right and follow the arrow. Watch out for the security camera behind the small section of wall.
12. When you reach the rooftop, cross it, and go through the broken wall, and the door beyond it, into an apartment where you'll find items, a safe, and the diary "Therapy with Grace 1." Then leave the apartment and return to the rooftop.
13. Drop down through the hole in the roof of the pawn shop, and pick up the Genetic Research Camera.
14. Go out the door and down the hall, to the shop's front door. Take a picture of the splicer outside. When the door opens, take the splicer down.
15. Follow the arrow to Skid Row. The Big Daddy inside is a good target, as he's already weakened from battling the splicers.
16. Go into the Reliable Pharmacy. In the back room, climb the steps and crouch down to get through the hole in the wall. Find items, a safe, and the diary "Blood and Lamb" in the room on the other side. Hack the door control to get out. Watch out for the security camera just outside.
17. Follow the arrow until you find a Brute Splicer. Take a picture, then take him down.
18. Go into the room where you found the Brute. Drop down in front of the Limbo Room and go inside to find the Hypnotize plasmid. Try it out on the splicer couple in the next room, and search for items. Go onto the stage and up the stairs to the right to find two rooms, one with a Power to the People machine, the other with the diary "Closing the Limbo Room."
19. Leave the area of Limbo Room and turn left, and left again. Go up the stairs and through the sliding door. Turn left past the bathroom and find the diary "Sunday Services" on the floor next to the corpse. In the room beyond, look for the tonic Fire Storm. Continue on across the walkway and onto the roof of the pharmacy to find the diary "Pauper's Drop."
20. Retrace your steps across the walkway and through the apartment. At the bottom of the stairs, turn left, and follow the hallway. In the alcove on the right, find the diary "Mole."
21. Keep following the arrow. Watch out for the splicer's explosive trap in the tube between Skid Row and the Sinclair Deluxe.
22. When you reach the blocked doorway, use your new-found drill technique to smash through. Don't forget to fill up on drill fuel at the station to the left.
23. Head upstairs. At the second floor landing, turn right, and go into apartment 106. Search for items, and follow the apartment all the way back to the bathroom, where you'll find the diary "A Gift From Lamb."
24. Follow the arrow down the second floor hallway. Duck into the open door on the left to find a safe, then through the one on the right to continue on.
25. When you come out of the apartment into the hall, turn left. Watch out for the turret around the corner. Beyond it is a room with a Power to the People machine. Use it, then follow the arrow.
26. Watch out for the security camera ahead. On the altar beneath it, find the tonic Freezing Drill. Continue down the hall, up the stairs, and down the hall above until you come to the missing section. Jump across to the section on the left to get the diary "Profit Coming, Profit Going."
27. Drop down and head up the wooden walkway. Follow the arrow. Go through the open rooms on the right to search for items and a safe. In the room with the safe, near the middle of this group of rooms, is a turret; hack or destroy it, and find the diary "Where has Harry Gone?" on the shelf right beside it. At the end of the hall, go into room 212, on the left.
28. In the room to the left, find the diary "Butterfly."
29. Continue up the ramps to the next floor. In the hall outside is a security camera. Turn right where the hallway forks, and follow it all the way to the end to get the diary "What a Snap." Then follow the hallway back around to the other side.
30. Go into room 307 and search around. Find the tonic Keen Observer on the desk in the room on the left, and the diary "Barbarism" under the bed. In the room to the right, pick up the diary "Failing Lamb."
31. Tear down the poster of Dr. Lamb on the wall, and press the button on the other side.
32. Go down the secret tunnel and look through the window.
33. Do what you have to do, then grab the key from the desk and go back the way you came.
34. Go into room 306, then drop down through the hole in the floor, and the next. Follow the arrow, and be ready for a fight.
35. In the area of the Fishbowl Diner, battle the Brute Splicer and search his corpse for the diary "Field Trial #1." Then keep following the arrow.
36. Make your way back to the train station, and hit the lockdown controls switch. Jump on the train and hit the switch to finish the level.
#
5--Siren Alley
1. Make your way across the sea floor to the Siren Alley airlock. Be sure to pick up the ammo and ADAM slugs along the way. Once inside the airlock, throw the switch.
2. Find the diary "A Silent God" on the wall to the left, above the line of candles.
3. Battle the splicers, and search the area for items and vending machines.
4. Climb the stairs to the second floor balconies, and search for items. Drop down through the hole in the floor into the bar, and pick up the tonic Handyman, and the diary "Misbehaving." Melt the ice inside for more items, then hack the door control to leave.
5. Go into the Mermaid Lounge and search for items. Melt the ice in the kitchen to get the diary "The Rumbler." On the second floor, hit the turret control switch behind the bookcase in the office to kill the splicers, then go into the room they were in (the turrets won't attack you) and get the diary "Plasmid Shipment." Hack the door control inside the second-floor kitchen to find a safe, then drop down through the hole in the floor of the next room to find a Power to the People station and the diary "Farther to Fall."
6. Follow the arrow through the door, and pick up the Security Command plasmid from the wagon on the right. Then continue into the next room. Watch out for the security camera on the wall just to the left of the door.
7. Go upstairs and around to the door, being careful of the turret across from you. Pick up the diary "Lamb's Salvation" on the left side of the door.
8. Follow the arrow back the way you came, and into the Pink Pearl. Just inside the door, pick up the speargun. Have some fun with your new weapon.
9. Go into the office on the first floor, and find the diary "Father Simon Wales."
10. Head upstairs and search the apartments on the second floor for items, fighting any splicers that come your way. In an apartment off the southernmost hallway, in the bedroom, find the diary "Double Standard."
11. Head up to the third floor. Defuse the trap wires, then follow Daniel Wales. Fight the spider splicers. Watch out for the security camera at the end of the hall.
12. Go through the door on the right. Activate the peepshow window, and hit the door control in the room with Electro Bolt to open the door. Go out and down the hall to the newly opened door, and go inside the room for a safe and some items.
13. Go down the hall and through the door on the left. Look on the desk in the room on the left of the hole in the floor for the diary "Wales an' Wales." There's also a safe in this room.
14. Drop down through the hole, and follow the arrow. Watch out for the two turrets at the end of the hall. Deal with them, then pick up the Hacker's Delight tonic on the right side of the hall.
15. Go out into the hall and battle Daniel and his spider splicers. Collect the diary "The Date is the Code" from Daniel's corpse.
16. Follow the arrow back through Little Eden Plaza, fighting splicers along the way as necessary. At the door, enter the code 1919 into the keypad.
17. Use the few seconds before the splicers arrive to get Sinclair's gifts from the mail tube next to the door, and set up whatever traps you have. Then battle the splicers.
18. Once the door is open, go through it into Plaza Hedone.
19. Go straight ahead down the second-floor walkways and balconies until you reach the room with the turret, all the way at the end. After taking care of the turret, go through the door right next to it to find a safe, and the diary "Lamb's Operation." Go up the staircase next to the door and search the next level of walkways for items.
20. Go into the second-floor apartment at the far western side of the map, and find items and the diary "Bury Her Memory."
21. Drop down to the ground floor and find Joe's Green Groceries, but don't go inside yet. First, look for the narrow opening to the left of Joe's. Go through it, and follow the passageway down to a room containing the Vending Expert tonic, and the diary "The Requirements of Utopia."
22. Back upstairs, go inside Joe's. Look under the cash register for the conspicuous switch, and hit it. Go through the newly unlocked door in the back room. This area is crawling with security; there's a camera, a turret, and a security bot, as well as a splicer. Deal with them, then go through the door on the right and follow it to the office. Hit the conspicuous switch on the side of the desk to reveal the safe in the wall. There's also a bot shutdown panel in here if you need it. Then drop down to the lower level, and go into the bootleg plasmid lab down there for the diary "An Empty Niche," and the tonic Cure All.
23. Go back up to the main level, and look for the diary "The Pair Bond Mechanism" on a pile of rubble just ahead. Watch out for the security camera above the door marked Temple of the Lamb.
24. Go inside the Little Sister Orphanage. Search the orphanage for items. In the second floor dormitory room, find the diary "My Name is Eleanor." Fight off the splicer ambush, then leave the orphanage.
25. Go through the door into the Temple of the Lamb. Kill the splicers in the pump room, then go through the door on the right, down the hallway, and into another room. Go through the door on the left, up the stairs and along the overhang. Hack the door control inside the room to gain entry, and pick up the diary "Shackled to the Great Chain."
26. Drop down, and look for the diary "Guidance of Lamb" on the altar.
27. Go through the door, down the hallway, and through the door on the left to find a safe, a Power to the People machine, and the diary "Therapy with Grace 2." The continue to follow the arrow.
28. Battle Simon Wale and his splicers. Search Simon's corpse.
29. Pick up the diary "The Creed of the Faithful" from the altar.
30. Go through the door and activate the pump control. Then head back the way you came through the flooding tunnels. When you reach the closed door, wait. It'll be open shortly.
31. Walk once more across the sea floor, to the Dionysus Park airlock. Throw the switch to finish the level.
#
6--Dionysus Park
1. Exit the airlock and follow the arrow through the hallways and rooms. Battle the Houdini splicer, then find the diary "Patronage" on the shelf in the room at the far eastern end of the first floor.
2. Head upstairs to the second floor. Keep going past the door on the ledge overlooking the first floor, and find the diary "A Gift From Billy" on the landing near the pile of rubble. Hop over the rubble, then turn right, and right again, then go straight ahead, into the next room, to find the secret room alluded to in the diary. Enter the code 1080 into the keypad to access the room, and find a Power to the People station, and the diary "Lamb's Time is Over," inside. Then, return to following the arrow.
3. Watch out for the security camera in the room just past the ledge overlooking the first floor. Continue to follow the arrow.
4. Fight the leadhead splicers, then find the diary "Lamb's Idea of Art" in the room they were in. Then, keep following the arrow.
5. Go through the door to the left of the Gatherer's Garden machine in the room with the carousel. Next to the half-open door with the water flooding in, get the diary "Dionysus Park's Weakness," and the tonic Eve Expert. Search the next room for items and vending machines, then return to following the arrow. Get the diary "Lost and Found" from the center of the carousel.
6. Don't forget to upgrade a weapon at the Power to the People station in the room just past the tube. There's also a safe in here. In the next room, pick up the launcher from the little red wagon. There are a couple splicers in the next room for you to try it out on.
7. In the train station, approach the security booth and talk to Stanley. Then head out into Dionysus Park in search of Little Sisters.
8. In the large room between the train station and the Triton Theater, look for the diary "Lamb Flouts the System," near the statue in the middle of the room.
9. You should find a Little Sister (and, or course, a Big Daddy) in the Triton Theater. Search around for items and machines before engaging the Big Daddy. Make sure you hit the door control panel of the ticket booth to unlock the door and get a rich jackpot of items.
10. On the balcony overlooking the theater, find the diary "A Spy." In the hallway leading to the projection booth, find the diary "Growing Up" in the pile of rubble on the right. There's plenty of ammo in the office just across the hall. In the projection room itself, find the tonic Extended Reel.
11. In the theater, go through the door to the left of the stage and into the room behind the screen to get items and the diary "A Secular Saint."
12. Follow the hallway leading from the theater to the bathrooms. In the dames' room, find the tonic Electrical Storm.
13. Go into the lounge and hack the door control panel to gain access to the back room, where you'll find a safe and the diary "Learning Poker."
14. When you've explored the theater area fully, and stocked up as best you can from the items and vending machines, lay your ambush and take down the Big Daddy. After you've defeated him, deal with the Little Sister as you see fit, either harvesting her or adopting her.
15. Head to the J. Fischer Gallery. In the piano bar, find the diary "The Voice of the Self" on the piano in the corner near the window. On the second floor, all the way in the southeast corner of the area, find the tonic Drill Specialist, and the diary "Gotta Keep it Together."
16. Use Incinerate! to melt the ice blocking the door into the Imago Fine Arts gallery. It's crawling with security cameras and turrets, so be prepared. Have plenty of remote hack tools or other ammo. Melt the piles of ice as you go for items and the diary "Falling into Place." Watch out going around corners, though, or the turrets will make you pay. In the back room, find ammo, a safe, and the tonic Hardy Machines. If you hack all or some of the security devices in the Imago gallery, it'll become the perfect place for an ambush.
17. Take out the Big Daddy. If possible, lure him into the Imago Gallery, and allow your hacked security devices to do some of the damage. Then either adopt or harvest the Little Sister.
18. You'll find the third Little Sister in the area of the carousel, back toward the beginning of the level. Take out the Big Daddy, and deal with the Little Sister.
19. Go back to the train station to find the security booth unlocked. Pick up the diary "A Plan," and deal with Stanley. Then, get on the train and throw the switch to finish the level.

7--Fontaine Futuristics
1. Get off the train and follow the arrow. Pick up the diary "Alone at Last" from the pile of crates on the left in the first room after leaving the platform, then continue to follow the arrow.
2. Pick up the Damage Research tonic from the little red wagon, and continue on.
3. Throw the switch to flood the airlock, and head out across the sea floor. Watch for ADAM slugs. In the next airlock, hit the switch and continue on.
4. Fight the splicers in the lobby of Fontaine Futuristics, then search the area for ammo and other items. Then head upstairs, and initiate the bio-scan.
5. Battle the Alpha Series Big Daddy, then head through the door.
6. After Gil's message, get the diary "Agnes Dei" from the wall beside the video screen, then look under the desk right next to it to find a safe. Then hit the voice activated switch at the next door to open it and proceed.
7. Hit the voice activated switch on the far side of the security booth to attempt to open the door. Battle the splicers Gil sends after you, then go through the door they came from. Find the diary "Means of Control" on the couch just inside.
8. Search the room for items and vending machines, including a Gatherer's Garden. Then follow the arrow to the bot shutdown panel and hit the signal relay there. Fend off the security bots Gil sends your way, then head upstairs in search of the other three signal relays.
9. At the top of the stairs, find the diary "Life After Sisterhood." Then turn right, and right again at the corner, and crouch to go through the hole in the wall on your left. Follow the passageway to the hole in the floor, and drop down into the lab to find the Drill Power 2 tonic, and the diary "A New Cognitive Model." Fight the splicers who show up. Once they're dead, leave the room through the broken window and head back upstairs.
10. Go to Fontaine's office, on the opposite side of the staircase from the vent. Watch out for the turret on the other side of the small dividing wall. Inside the office, hit the signal relay on the right side of the room. Turn the conspicuous boar mount on the other side of the office to reveal a secret chamber, containing items and the diary "Goodbye to Fontaine."
11. Outside the office, turn left and go through the door marked Marketing Administration. Kill the splicers inside, then hit the door control box to open the door on the left wall. Inside the next room, find a safe, and the Unstable Teleport Plasmid.
12. Go back out into the main room, and through the door on the other side. Stay out of the water flooding the room; a current periodically runs through it. Find the diary "Source of Volunteers" to the left of the door. Get onto dry ground, and hack the box on the wall to deactivate the current. Hack or destroy the security camera on the right, and hit the signal relay below it.
13. Deal with the splicers that show up, and the ambush waiting for you outside the flooded room.
14. Head back downstairs and follow the arrow. Watch out for the turret at the end of the hallway. Go through the newly opened door into the theater area.
15. Enter the code 5254 into the keypad on the left to open the door. Crouch down and follow the passageway inside to get the diary "Prototype," and the tonic Careful Hacker 2.
16. Follow the arrow down the hallway and into the theater. Step up to the microphone and battle the Houdini splicers that Gil sends after you. Once you've put them down, be ready for another Alpha Series. When he's dead, hit the last signal relay.
17. Head back to the security booth, and hit the voice activation switch to open the door. Make sure to upgrade a weapon at the Power to the People station inside, then hit the switch on the desk, granting you access to the plasmid labs.
18. Follow the arrow into the lab airlock, and get the diary "Abort the Experiment" from the bench on the left. Then throw the switch to flood the airlock, and follow the arrow across the sea floor.
19. Drop down through the hole, and follow the arrow to the airlock. Throw the switch and follow the arrow down the hallway.
20. Go down the stairs beside the desk to find a Gatherer's Garden machine and the diary "Gil's Place in the Plan." Turn around and head left, and look for the first circuit breaker on the side of the large tiled pillar. Pick up the diary "Solving for X" from the ground directly below.
21. Find the other circuit breaker on a pillar on the other side of the room, near a health station. When you've activated it, go back to the desk and hit the power mains switch.
22. Pick up the first ADAM-infused plant from the desk, and get ready to fight. The two Alpha Series will fight each other at first, but when one's down, the other will immediately turn on you. When they're both out of the way, follow the arrow.
23. Look in the subject observation booth for some items, and the diary "Outlived Usefulness." Watch out for the security camera across the room from the booth.
24. Find the next ADAM-infused plant in the northeast corner of the area. Survive the splicers and Alpha Series Gil sends after you, then follow the arrow back the way you came and then into the live test facility. Watch out for the rocket turret underneath the stairs.
25. In the next room, watch out for the Big Daddy battling the splicers; he'll attack you without provocation. Take him down, and search his corpse for the diary "Meltzer's Choice."
26. Continue on through the room to find the next ADAM-infused plant. Further on, you'll find a security camera and, under its gaze, the diary "Goodbye, Dr. Alexander." Directly beneath the camera is a broken section of glass; look through it, into the room beyond, and hack the door control panel on the left.
27. Drop down through the hole in the floor. Kill the splicer, and head down the hall, checking the cells. In one you'll find a turret and a safe, and, beyond them, a passageway leading to the back of another cell. Melt the ice in the other cell to release the door, then circle back around and go inside through the newly unlocked hall door to find items, another safe, and the diary "Betrayal."
28. Across the hall, find the last ADAM-infused plant. Then hit the switch on the door at the end of the hall, and follow the arrow up the stairs, battling splicers and Alpha Series as they come.
29. Follow the arrow back the way you came. Just through the first door, turn left to go inside the room you hacked open before. Inside, find a Power to the People station, and the diary "Big Sister." Then continue following the arrow.
30. At the desk in the main room, hit the sample injection controls. Fend off the waves of splicers and Alpha Series that Gil sends after you.
31. Hit the genetic sample extraction switch on the desk. Take the genetic key from the slot.
32. If you want to, hit the switch on the desk to dispose of Gil. Either way, follow the arrow back to the airlock and hit the switch.
33. Follow the arrow to the Oxy-Fill station and use the key on the airlock access panel.
34. Go inside the newly uncovered airlock and throw the switch. Find the diary "The People's Daughter" on the right side of the hallway leading to the elevator.
35. Get on the secret elevator and press the button to finish the level.

8--Persephone
1. Get off the elevator and follow the arrow into Persephone. In the first hallway after the tube, look for a Power to the People station on the left.
2. A little farther on, just past the sign pointing to the Quarantine Area, go through the doorway on the right. Inside the room, find some items, and the diary "Selling Ryan Short."
3. Go back to the hallway and continue following the arrow. Look in the pile of rubble at the next corner to find a deactivated security bot, which you can hack if you want.
4. Find Eleanor in the atrium, and hit the quarantine room controls. Fight the two, count 'em two, Big Sisters who show up immediately after Sophia Lamb's message.
5. Enter the quarantine chamber.
6. When you take control of the Little Sister, enter the vent in the wall. In the atrium, follow the arrow to the next vent, which will lead you into Lamb's office.
7. Follow the arrow to the cell block door controls, and pull the switch.
8. Head through Lamb's office. At the end, find the diary "Withholding Visitation" on the chair next to the bookcase. Then continue on, following the arrow.
9. In the next room, to the left of the three people admiring the sculpture of the Big Daddy fighting some kind of sea monster, find the diary "Blessing in Disguise." Then get back to following the arrow.
10. In the next room, gather some ADAM from the "angel," and watch as this masterfully creepy game gets even creepier.
11. Follow the arrow to the room on the right, and pick up the Big Sister armor from the wall.
12. Go through the next vent, just around the corner of the hallway, next to the jammed door. Gather ADAM from the "angel" in the room. Hit the circuit breaker to open the door, or leave the same way you entered.
13. Farther down the hall, in the repair shop, find the Big Sister helmet. Pick up the diary "Behind Mother's Back" from the bench right next to it.
14. Head upstairs, and find another "angel" in a cell on the left of the room.
15. Pick up the Big Sister weapon from the locker at the far end of the area. Turn around, and go through the door on the left. Follow the arrow back to the quarantine chamber.
16. Find the diary "Freeing Father" underneath Eleanor's bed. Then, give Eleanor the Big Sister suit.
17. Follow the arrow back to the atrium. Use your new plasmid to summon Eleanor, who'll help you out with the splicers waiting there for you.
18. When you've cleared out the area, follow the arrow to the bulkhead leading to Inner Persephone, and exit the area.

9--Inner Persephone
1. Check the room for items, then follow Eleanor upstairs to the docking platform.
2. Head up the next flight of stairs, and fight the splicers in the room at the top. There's a turret here which can be hacked to help you. Call Eleanor if you want a little extra muscle. When the room has been cleared out, visit the Gatherer's Garden in the entryway to the Holding section.
3. Go into the holding wing. Hack the door control panel inside the inmate processing booth, aiming through the broken section on the right. Don't bother trying to get in from here. Follow the arrow into the cell blocks. Take a left in the room after the first section of tube, and follow the next section along until you reach the booth you just hacked. Inside, find items, a safe, and the diary "Out with the Old..." Then head back the way you came. Stop off at the Gene Bank if you need to adjust your plasmids or tonics, then follow the arrow.
4. Hit the prisoner admittance button. Head through the door after Sinclair. At the bottom of the stairs, go through the door marked Cafeteria. Watch out for a security camera and a group of splicers waiting for you in the next room.
5. When you've cleared the room, search for items. The corpse on the table in the northeast corner is a bit of a trap; he's only got booze on him, and indiscriminately searching him and taking it will get you lit up for a few seconds. On the table next to the dead drunk, find the diary "The Definition of Despair."
6. Follow the arrow through the kitchen and down the stairs. Check the lower level for items, melting the snow in the corner, then continue on.
7. Follow Sinclair through the laundry room and up into the cell block area. Search for items, fighting off whatever splicers come your way. In Block D, in the cell on the right, find the diary "A Trade." In the cell across the block, find the diary "First Two Digits."
8. In Block C, look for the hole in the wall and go through it into Block B. In a cell on the left, search the hanged prisoner for the diary "No More Hope Left." Farther on, in the cell at the extreme north end, find the tonic Elemental Sponge, and the code to the security booth where Sinclair is locked away.
9. Go through the door just past Block C, and check Block A for some ammo, and the diary "A Generous Offer."
10. In the solitary confinement area on the first floor, go to the bottom level to find the Elemental Vampire tonic.
11. Go through the door on the first floor reading Cell Block South Quad. Watch out for the security camera on the right-hand wall. In the second cell on the right, look for a hole in the wall. Crawl through to find the diary "Last Two Digits."
12. Back on the second floor, find the locked bathroom door in the southwestern corner. Use the coin slot to gain access. Melt the pile of ice with Incinerate! and crawl through the tunnel, collecting items. When you reach the end, hack the security bot lying on the floor in the next room through the small opening.
13. Head back down the tunnel, and into the now-unlocked security booth. Use the Power to the People station inside, and find the diary "Magic Sauce."
14. Take down Sinclair, then search his body for the key. Use the security override controls on the desk in the security booth.
15. Fight your way through the Alpha Series and splicers, back the way you came, to the docking platform.
16. Head out toward either the therapy or infirmary area. You'll have to visit both, but the order is up to you. This walkthrough will detail the therapy area first, but again, you're free to do them in either order.
17. Follow the arrow through the tube and into the therapy wing. Go through the door on the left. Take out the splicer inside, and search the bodies; the one on the couch should have the diary "Legs, Mouths, Arms and Eyes."
18. Go into the room across the hall. Watch out for the splicer, and the security camera just inside the next room. Look for the diary "A Simple Question" on the machine next to the examining table on the right.
19. At the end of the hallway, turn right, and go through the door. Find plenty of ammo, and the diary "Destructive Learning," in the room.
20. Go down the hall into the administrative offices. On the shelf in the first room on the right, find the diary "Sacrifices."
21. Go downstairs, and fight the splicer and Alpha series down there. Search the room for items, and the diary "A Stratagem for Sinclair."
22. Head back upstairs, and hack the door control panel in the corner. This would be a good one to use an auto-hack dart on, as it's kind of insanely hard. You'll be able to replenish the dart inside, plus get a bunch more good ammo.
23. Follow the arrow back into the therapy wing, and into the pediatric ward. Battle the splicers and Alpha Series, then hit the call button on the wall. Then, turn and head for the infirmary wing.
24. Follow the arrow through the infirmary, searching the rooms for items. In a room on the left at the end of the hallway, across from a Gene Bank, find the diary "Such Freedom."
25. At the far northeastern edge of the infirmary, watch out for a rocket turret. Hack or destroy it, and move past it into a room where you'll find a Power to the People station, and the diary "My Prison."
26. Look under the stairs leading up to the next floor to find ammo and health. Take out the Alpha Series at the top of the stairs, and the security camera guarding the first room you come to. There's another camera in the next room; on the counter underneath it, find the diary "They Feel Pain."
27. Go past the door to the pediatric wing, into the autopsy room. Search around for items, and pick up the last diary in the game, "Alleviating Pain."
28. Stock up at the vending machines outside, then head down the hallway into the pediatric ward. Take out the onslaught of Alpha Series and Houdini splicers inside. When you've beaten them, follow the arrow to the call button and press it.
29. Follow the arrow back through the infirmary to the docking platform.
30. When you've finished with both pediatric wards, approach the glass in the docking platform.
31. Battle Lamb's onslaught of splicers and Alpha Series. Once Eleanor has things under control, you can summon her to help you.
32. When Eleanor tells you to, get upstairs and pull the docking clamp release lever.
33. Destroy the glass tubes above you to flood the platform.
34. Get to the elevator, and get the hell out of Rapture.
