ROFL! When that happened to me she was around 10 feet away when I turned on dead eye, and put 3 bullets in her back. Lucky for me, the police don't care!
I did the same , serves her right for stealing my horse! She was like 4m away from me so I just shot her then I just looted her body. Found a fair bit of cash.
Its an absolutely great game. The graphics are amazing (Obviously with HDMI) and the gameplay is great in general. You wont get bored easily, not like GTA sometimes. On RDD there is so much to do.... hunting, robbing, playing poker, getting drunk etc. The campaign is massive and Rockstar are going to release a coop mode at the end of June so you can play the campaign with your friends at home (PS3 only)
I highly recommend it for anybody really PS3 and XBOX
i played Red Dead Revolver.. and my cousin beat Red Dead Redemption. he says he hates it because the main character dies in the middle of the game, and you "have to play as his mentally challenged son afterwards".
*SPOILER* If you have yet to beat the game, please skip over my post. . . . . . . .

John Marston dies on the last Story Mission of the game. You play as Jack, his son, for the remainder. The remainder being, one Stranger Mission that pertains to the story afterwards, which can be found in Blackwater called 'Remembering My Family.' Once completed, the credits role, you're able to skip and finish whatever odds and ends you have left, if you want to.
Geez, I can't believe this thread is this far back for such an awesome game.
Ok, well after emerging from my cave playing Red Dead Redemption, I have a lot to say. It could only be summed up in one word though. Amazing. So many things to do in that game it's just spectacular. Animals to hunt, challenges to do, people to save/kill, gambling (which I have found addicting...), and bounty-huntin', I was in awe.
@Above post
I which I could replay Stranger missions. I'd love killing Ross over and over again . I hate playing as Jack, being John was 10x better.
