I saw the trailer, and i must say that it looks pretty good, and yes i saw the (cross)bow wich looked wicked. But it is still trey-arch who makes it, and they have dissapointed us before. So i'll just wait and see.
Finally someone who agrees that MoH looks amazing and will buy it over Cod.Although I will have to see the review before purchasing. I believe CoD 5 will be decent, but it is already over-hyped so everyone will think its amazing.
I'm really hoping for a true stealth-oriented mission in Black Ops. I recently decided to pick up the Splinter Cell series with the release of Conviction, and while stealth-elements within games such as Oblivion (crouching to gain a 3 or 6 times damage multiplier), and Halo (Active Camo), and Assassin's Creed (not too much on the super-stealth, but it can be a really fun way to play many of the memory sequences), had been entertaining to me, Splinter Cell took the cake and delivered it to me on a silver platter. With the addition of the crossbow, I'm really excited to see if there will be a Rambo-esque (First Blood, not Rambo III) mission.
In regards to anything coming from "Infinity Ward", outside the near future, the quality of it is going to go downhill, simply because of the recent legal struggles that've forced their founding President and CEO to leave the studio. And they (the CEO and President), have already established a new studio with production from EA and are already hiring former Infinity Ward designers and programmers, many of which held the title of "Lead". Currently though, they're trying to wrestle property rights of the Call of Duty franchise from Activision, so they may finish the series on their terms and move on with life.
i think its going to be pretty much what they did with WAW. take a good game, change the backdrop and setting, add a few things such as guns and attachments,end up with a pile, and call it finished.
No you don't, in Viet Nam the M16 was a piece of trash. It promised minimal field-maintenance because of the "futuristic" design, but in reality you were lucky if you pulled the trigger and it fired.
