I met someone over the bulk of my freshman year, and I decided to tell her how I felt last tuesday. I didn't see her again.

I didn't get her number either. I'm not sure if I should regret this. I honestly wish I had gotten her number... I think I'll be able to see her again but still.

Saaadfaic.

And are you SURE it is love? ABSOLUTELY positive? Because there are extreme versions of like that can mislead you.

Can't speak for thoad but the girl I like is just freakin awesome but no it isn't love I suppose.

We watched Five Hundred Days of Summer together. That makes it legit bro. =P

I wanted to cry at that movie. I had an experience very similar.

Yes. Don't get me wrong, it started off like any regular old infatuation,m but I started to know her, get her personality down...

It isn't love if you aren't loved back, according to some school of thought...

I just hope you aren't going down a one-way road, because there's only one place that path leads, and I don't believe you need to be told where that is.

Yes, and I at least have to know. Once I know , I can get over it. If she says no, then it's a good thing that I take rejection all too well.

and it isn't like it is the end of the world people!
the 4th time my first love broke my heart, i kinda got over it. I realized that it just gets you emotionally high, to tell the truth. sometimes, when you find someone it is great, but it ends. there are some cases where they live happily ever after, but that is when you KNOW that they love you back as much as you love them.

i liked a senior for my entire freshman year, i told him on the last day of school, and he told me that he liked me too (fml) now he goes to college in OHIO! and im stuck in alabama. (again, fml) after I told him, I wasn't so 'in love'. because like you thoad, at first he was just a hottie, then I got to know him, and i thought it was my second chance, but I waited too long. and besides, i was a freshman, and he was a senior. Astronomical differences in age when you are in high school.

so really, no need for all of this sadness and depresion. I don't want ANYONE to be depressed about love, because when I was i realized that it was stupid. it is just ONE person on a planet filled with BILLIONS. trust me when I say you will find someone else.
