:knowledge or usage of the preferred or prescribed forms in speaking or writing: She said his grammar was terrible.

Use it; and yes it even matters in the tavern.

Then again no need to be a grammar Nazi.

I find it sad that so many people just get a bunch of friends and AP and whatnot and then just up and leave. I, for one, will never do that.

At least people would take the type to write somewhat good so spell check knows what they're trying to say.

That is a statement, not a question. Also, 'time' needs quotes so that people know you are referring to the word 'time' and not the concept of time.

Wrong. It is a question. I was simply assuming he meant to replace the word, but I couldn't be sure. So I asked a question. The rest however, is correct.

Indirect questions are statements, not questions. They are to be punctuated with a full stop/period, not a question mark.
