It's actually $449 for both (photoshop and cs5). Which really is not that much.

Our school has it on their Macs... that's where I program. I've got FlashDevelop on my home computer.

I remember I asked if I could get the software, and my parents said sure. Then they asked how much; I told them; they said no.

Lol.

rjbman if you want something and no one will buy it get a job. I bought most of my stuff that is worth anything with my own hard earned cash thought buying a tablet that I don't use was kinda dumb of me but i'll get around to it eventually.

Haha sorry darkroot, when I read that I laughed. Not because of what you posted, just the irony. I just got a job about a month ago, so when I saw that I laughed. Still trying to save up for stuff, like college and all.

Anyways, apparently our school's making us get macTops with CS4 on them. So I'm going to wait the two months or so till we get that.

Darkroot that depends on what kind of income the person has. If they have a very limited income even $449.00 is a pretty large investment. Some of us could never afford to just spend that much at one go. I for example am on disability and there is no way someone on disability can afford to spend 449.00 out of a single months funds. What with the way the economy is going I wonder how many people will still be able to afford the excessive(IMO) prices of such software. I'm sure they must have their reasons for so charging but by so doing they keep a lot of people from being able to get hold of the software. There should be a law against setting such a high price for software I think. After all what good is it to have a www that allows you to access such materials if you can't afford to purchase them?
Makes me wonder why they even bother to list the stuff on their website since so few can probably afford to buy it.
