Yes siree. Old English turned into Middle English, but those people would be startled at the way we speak now. Back then English resembled those Germanic languages more.

Grammar is extremely important to me. Without grammar are language would be horrible. I would be ashamed to speak it. And spelling is important to me too.

I hate chat speak, but what I hate more, is "grammer nazis". For christ sakes people, one little spelling/grammar error is nothing to call uopn, or post about. Just let it go. You knew what the person was trying to say!
