What exactly is the meaning of this word called "Perfect"? Everyone has their thoughts of what perfect is to them, but what is it generally? Is it possible to achieve perfection? Is "erfect" even perfect?
People are forgetting about the other qualified kind of perfect: the perfect as defined by measurable outcomes i.e. a perfect score in a test. That kind of perfect is attainable.
There is not one because there's always the chance for more than 100% (extra credit).
Well a circle could be a circle without any irregularities or it could be very deformed. Depends who made the circle.
Perfect in my sense is not obtainable. Some people I know try to be perfect. And they are annoying doing that. What I do about perfect is just don't use the word.
Because they are equal (equal distance blablablabla). Equal is perfect. Perfectly equal. You can't have imperfect equal, that makes no sense! Almost like what I just posted!

Which means that both the circumfrence and the diameter of a real circle can be expressed as whole rational numbers, and therefore written as a ratio. Because Pi is irrational, either the diameter or the cicumfrence of a perfect circle must be irrational.
Therefore, there is no such thing as a perfect circle. Every circle that you have ever seen is actually some misshapen blob.

Well anyway... Pi does not define a perfect cirle. All points equidistant to a central point defines a circle. If the distance is irrational, it's still a perfect circle. Sorry if I dodged your post, but yea...Pi has nothing to do with it.

A perfect circle is an idea. There are only 'erfect' things in ideas.

As I have just shown, it is impossible for a continuos line of points to be arranged in such a way that that they are all equidistant from a common point AND the combined length of all the points are equal to pi times twice the distance from any point on the circle to the center.
The idea that nothing is perfect is only a philosophy that deals with the fact that not everything in life will go according to exactly how you want it. Perfection is tagged by each individual's criteria of what perfection is for the specific item involved.
For example, you may say that that Bob scored achieved a perfect score in a game, if Bob attained the highest possible score on that game without cheating. You cant say that since nothing is perfect, there must be a higher score that Bob could have achieved without cheating. Thats a load of ********.
Perfect could mean that everything was done right, with no mistakes. A perfect test score is achievable. I've seen it plenty of times. And passing off new theories and concepts in the name of science requires perfect proofs, that is proofs wich cast out any doubts that the corresponding formula is correct. I don't know who exactly looks at these proofs, but their definition of perfect would probably involve using only fundamental rules to build up on the proof rather than relying on other theories.
The idea of a perfect circle is indeed perfect(duh). Although drawing a perfect circle by hand is deemed impossible, and a circle drawn by computer, while seemingly perfect, is minutely limited in accuracy by its limitation of pixels.
