Epic random topic about talking about the Lovecraft Mythos by H. P. Lovecraft.

Also, if someone wouldn't mind, can you tell us all where we can read them all online in one site? I've seen them all scattered around, but it gets hectic when you want to reread a certain mytho. Thanks in advance.

So, to start us off, I'm going to assume almost none (if not none) of you have even heard of H. P. Lovecraft, or is Mythos, so I'll start the discussion on that!

Lovecraft was a horror fiction writer, and his fictional universe focused around the thought that there was more than meets the eye, to our society. (Or his. Many of his stories were based in the 1900-1920s, if I'm correct.) Many of his stories included gods and entities that some consider not unlike the Greek Gods, just much more massive in not only size, but in power.

That's all I got. If anyone has a link to a biography, it'd be appreciated.

Lovecraft was crazy during his lifetime, that is why he wrote crazy scary stories. Thats is all I know of him.

Well see I thought that too, but then I thought "POPULAR media."

Lovecraft aint popular. I consider Popular media "Pop culture". Modern day music, books, and movies and the such. But, I'll contact a mod and ask them about it anyway.

You've read some of his stories, though, yes? And most of them aren't scary. Just horrific.

Going to move it anyway.
Popular media is basically "Books, musics, films" and so on. Last time I checked Lovecraft's works were in book form. (and Youtube videos. Lovecraft is rather popular)

Never really read any of the works, though I have been staring at the Necronomicon several times. His way of writing is a bit too heavy for my head, and I wouldn't want to think like that for hours after I have read some of the text.
