I know, I know, you can write your post in Pages, Microsoft Word, and so on. But I thought of an idea. How about adding a button right next to the submit button that says "Save as draft".

Lets say your typing your really long walkthrough for a flash game. Then, all of a sudden, you have to go somewhere for some reason. Just click the "Save to draft

Yes, I think there should be conditions. The post or thread you are writing should already have x amount of characters. I haven't come up with an exact number, I was thinking you guys could help me on that one. ^^

There would be another button that would pop up right below the "Save to draft" button, and it would say "Open draft". I think this would be really convenient.

I think we should add this button because not everyone types their post in Pages and then copy an pastes it to here. If there was an urgent situation and you had to go somewhere, you could just click that button. Simple as that.

Good but imo I think an Edit Button is way better you can simply post and write it as *incomplete* if you're making a guide, Fix those annoying typos, rephrase sentences and so on. I don't really think this feature will be abused in any way, I've been to several forums which has this feature.

I like the idea, definitely a good update for when version 3 Armorgames comes out. But, as you know space costs money, and AG does NOT have a lot of that right now. Mainly because of ad blockers blah blah blah, all said here. Something to look forward in Version 3, if it ever comes out.
You can save your text to a simple text file, if you need to make drafts. That's what I do. Hey, you can even recover lost forms with Lazarus, if your tab/browser closes unexpectedly. Quite frankly, I do not support this idea because it's benefits can already be found with other things. Laziness.
The reason those weird symbols appear has to do with Microsoft Word's formatting. Putting your text in a basic editor such as Notepad or Wordpad will do fine.
As for an emergency or something, why not use text hosting?

Alright then, heres something new to add. If they let you save things to the site, its gonna have to get saved on the server taking up unneed space.

Funny see, cause signatures are greatly frowned uopn by the powers of AG. Yes, your not harming ayone, yet its annoying. I said the same thing as they did, annoying yes? But I still can, I shouldn't, but I do. Your being rather Hypocritical.
Considering that people now have concluded that an edit button is better (I agree), that drafts should be saved elsewhere (use your email), and lost text-scenarios can be handled by FireFox (Lazarus saves what has been written), I will lock this since the discussion is now about signing the title. Which in this case is at least better than "by SOYMASTER". However, I think you at least, if you insist on continuing this (considering your name is on the first post anyway), you should de-caps it. Because it is rather annoying to look at.
