Well, its exactly how it sounds. Can there please be an easier way to track your, or someone elses, previous posts? Ive seen the feature on other sites and i found it quite helpful. On trackmill is was located on your user profile. Can there be something like this on AG?

i agree w/ bio. tracking your posts would definitely make it easier to see what people have written and look at responses to your own posts.

So you basically want a way to stalk other people? Personally I find that creepy.

I see no real need to know where people posted last. I mean, allright, it might be nice to see what forums they posted in, and see if your intrested in posting there as well, but other then that...I can't find a purpose.

I don't see what possible use this could have. Besides stalking. Could you please give me some examples of how you have used it in the past?

in trackmill id post something somewhere and either forget or what other reason dont remember where it was located under, i just went to my profile and there was a tab tht said ' show recent posts by this user ' and i could find what thread and section it was under. Its more useful than it sounds.

That doesn't sound like it was very important then. Either that, or you posted so many places too fast, and you forgot. Go track your own movements down in bookmarks. That way it will be private to you, only be a feature to people who want to keep track of themselves, and we won't get problems with people always replying to certain people (harassment, stalking, trolling, flaming), ignoring everything but their posts.

He's talking about a page where all your posts are displayed, as it they were a single thread. I've seen it on other sites too. The only real application for this I presume would be reference. Since this is an easy way to stalk, I believe if it ever comes here it should be only be privately viewed. Well, that what it is on most sites but I've seen at least one site that doesn't.

I know. Just like "Latest posts on this forum" and so on. My reply still stands.

Ah. I have to agree with you on that one.

Is there really a need for this here? Why invest the time into this when there are other more important matters.

Yes, other sites have the feature but those are other sites.

Erm, so what's the status of this thread?

Wait and see for version 3.0? Considering I doubt they will work on making the forums better before they are done with the site in general. For all we know, we might even get to keep these forums (for better and worse), so... But I will let it stay open for a while. Discussing this might give a better solution, or at least better reasoning.

Alright then.

We can only assume that the site will be significantly changed, forums not necessarily included.

Mostly speculation.

IPB3 has that on the profiles, it's very useful.

Easy for moderators to find spammers' topics, easy for yourself to find your own topic (I swear I posted a help topic yesterday in Flash games forum, but I can't find it <_< ), etc...

Or even a simple search function would do it.

An edit button would be cool too, so I wouldn't have to double-post XD

Yes! An Edit button would be perfect!

Oh, and a way so we can track latest posts, would be kind of like what they do on Youtube or something, were you go to the inbox, and it shows you who replied to your post.

That would be nice.

every time someone make a suggestion some spammer brings in an edit button!! grumble grumble.. make your own thread for that.

back on topic.. nice idea but then again we should probably have some way to let people allow/deny if they want someone to "follow" them. twitter refrence there.
