Well the thing is I never know when I get a message on my page, and the other side doesn't know when he gets a message on his page - meaning it could take days just for both sides to interact each other.
If there would be a notification system, which would notify you of comments on your page.
But oh - what about the mods and the high rankers? Of course, they would get spammed and the notification thingy would be bombed. So they can choose who to block, if to block everyone and leave exceptions, etc.
Please take this to your consideration as it is very annoying to not know when someone posted me, when to check my page and to get comments only days after I commented.
Enable emails when you get messages on your profile, open your email in a new tab, and hope your email isn't screwed and old, but actually display new emails (new mail (1)) in the tab title like most of mine does. Tadaa, you have now found a way around it.

AG is not a chat service. If you are planning to only let some people talk to you, give them your AIM/MSN/chat name, and log in when you open the internet. Then if someone you are not interested in talking to tries to talk to you, you can block them, and it won't become a problem to us mods, because they can't go and complain about you blocking them in a chat unrelated to AG.
