BBC2, no question. Do not get MW2 under any circumstances. You'll be told by a million people to get it, just don't. Avoid it.
Basically that.
There are unbalanced weapons on MW2 (M9-3 Machine Pistol > M4A1 Assault Rifle. Knife > Sniper Rifle.)
Little kids ("OMFG HAXXOR NOOB *MUTE* *LEAVE*).
Too small maps.
Shotgun range is messed up (they can shoot up to 70yards in real life, can only shoot to 20 in this game).
No teamwork / strategy involved (very little, anyway).
BFBC2 Has:
Destructible Ground (making your own cover, destroying enemies).
Much more strategy (Tank>Assault>Engineer>Tank, Light Tank>Medic>Sniper>Light Tank (But these are rare, but have their reasons for being like that)).
A proper objective no matter what.
Squads.
No one moaning (not even talking usually, but there is still teamwork involved).
Proper balanced weapons (with exception to knifing, which is the same perk as a MW2 knife, but with medic it is also more believeable).
Vehicles.
Large Maps (Outposts on the game are roughly as big as a medium-sized MW2 Map).
More Army-ish (there are weapons for different things, and the best players (obviously) choose their gear depending on the current situation).
That's it for multiplayer.
I feel they could've made the BFBC2 Melee-combat system better, where you enter a hand-to-hand fight against a real life person and you need to press the buttons at the right time. But someone can interrupt, shoot them, you look to them and the camera zooms and pans towards them (which would look awesome if they done it right), giving a better feel of teamwork (but it would've taken much longer to come out then
). They should've also created a bleed system, would've greatly helped the realism and gameplay (I don't like snipers that survive anything
)
Anyway: BFBC2 > MW2
So I hope you do the right thing mate
Oh, I don't think BF charges you for map-packs either (Check their previous game patchs (Battlefield 2) and see if they charged).
