okay i had my xbox 360 much longer then my wii and ps3 and i never tried xbox live i dont have the router/modem thingy here in my room with my xbox i use a wireless adapter to pick my up internet would i be able to use my wireless adapater and put it in my 360 to do xbox live?
yes,as long as you have the wireless adapter connected to the back of your xbox,and you have a wireless signal,your router/modem should pick it up and you can use xbox live.
