Well the Tavern is for almost about anything. It can be forum games, favorite things as long as it does not fit into another category it is almost always welcome.
None of them are really original, and many of them are ruined by some weird person who comes along and says: My dog died today. or something totally random like that!
My dog died today. Lol, jking, couldn't resist. i don't see anything wrong with them, as far as I can see, the mods always close the spam ones eventually. Anyway, Austinc is right, the Tavern is for things which don't fit into any other categories. That includes games forum games.
There are a lot of forum games but this is the only place where they belong. I hate it too when someone ruins it though and someone else has to continue it for them.
See posts like that ruin topics and make them spam. If you are talking about other people that is not a good idea. These forum posts are the reasons topics get blocked.
