How long have you been using the ArmorGames Forums? Since the 6th of Feburary 2008. About two and a half years.
Do you believe that a specific language style is needed to use these forums? Yes. I believe that English would be the best choice of language to choose. Since most people here are English, it would be dumb to start speaking Japanese or something. Nobody would understand you!
What terms do you know of that are specific to these forums, such as words which have a different meaning in the context of ArmorGames? "AP" is an example. This means "Armor Points", points needed to get a higher rank. You earn these points by commenting, rating games, and posting in the forums. Submitting games and getting merits are great ways for getting Armor Points.
Do you believe good spelling and grammar is necessary? Yes. However, perfect spelling or grammar is not needed. I just want to understand people, and to be understood. That is all I ask for.
Why do you use these forums? It's fun and rather addictive. There are loads of users here that will listen to you, and dig deeper into your discussion. Everyone is unique, which makes this forum so interesting.
When you first joined, did you find it hard to become part of the community? Not really. When I first joined, I didn't use the forums that much. Now I use it a lot.
Do you have any other notes you think may be helpful for me in my assignment? Not really. You could point out that this is an unusually well-organized and well-moderated forum. And people aren't so silly. Some of the time.
Why do you use these forums? I like them. Using these forums often is fun. Also it's great talking/debating with people from all over the word. Lastly I have to say that I have learned various things thanks to this site.

How long have you been using the ArmorGames Forums?: A while. I'd say 1-2 years. I forget when though. I think I signed up in '08 so... yeah, 2 years or so. Do you believe that a specific language style is needed to use these forums? I think it's nice to have a refined language style, but not to a point where the younger users will tilt their head and say whut. A "noobish" style of language is also suitable, but annoying.

When you first joined, did you find it hard to become part of the community? Sorta for I kinda ignored it, but then came back 4 months later and talked in the newcomers. Back then I noticed if you'd screw up there usually wasn't someone who would get fired up about it.
