Seeing as I'm from the Netherlands, the dutch elections are somewhat relevant to my interests. Some preliminary results are in, but no definitive outcome is available as of yet.
But, enough about that, what I was wondering is who here follows these elections? Do you know something about them, if at all? Just curious
Well, the I watched it yesterday evening for a bit (as I am Dutch too) and the PVV (Geert Wilders) seems to do pretty good. Same for the VVD. And the SP is getting quite some votes too.
VVd won, pvv and d66 win big both. That's what happaned. Poor Balkenende, being politician is unthankfull work :/ He did fine but people just bark at him as if he brought us the downfall?
Yeah I see that now XD But at the time I wrote that I thought they did get quite some votes. Even though they had a lot less than the previous time.
But yeah, I felt sorry for Balkenende, when I saw his speech yesterday night. You saw he was a broken man, as a politician he did the right thing I guess, but still. Even though I am not a fan of his party, or him as a politician, it still was quite sad to see.
