Even if there's a loss of grip.. I doubt it's anything drastic.

It isn't drastic, certainly, but I had to deal with immense problem while writing my 8's and 2's (and certain alphabets) since my index finger would get jittery.

Your fingers are better left the way they are rather than &quotoping" them.

Well hey will hurt when you're old.

Well, I barely ever do it and they start to ache slightly when I haven't in a while, but popping them relieves the ache...

I seriously don't know if I have a proper problem or not.

A doctor will tell you whether it's a problem or not, your aching hands might be a sign of something else.

As for the "consequences" of cracking your knuckles, I really doubt they'd be that serious, probably barely even noticeable even in the long run. People are just annoyed by the sound, that's pretty much it. It'll hurt you more socially than physically.

I always pop my fingers, knuckles, and back. There is a change you could pinch a nerve as said before but it's unlikely.

I heard there is a bigger chance you might get arthritis when you are older. But other than that... *cracks knuckles* I don't think anything is wrong with it.

From what I've researched being a person who cracks his knuckles, neck, toes, etc. and so far there has been no evidence of it leading to arthritis or any huge damage except for grip loss which isn't that heavy.

Might as well read a source for yourself: Click Here

I love pooping them. No proof it causes arthritis. So. POP ON MY FELLOW POPPERS!

Lol its not going to fatally hurt you, it is a habit for me to &quotop" them, I dont know how you can stand not to pop them, my mine get so tense its like i cant move them at top speed, or like ive been in the cold all day. The feeling after popping them could be a sort of addiction for me maybe.

I used to constantly pop my neck, but my doctor said that yes it was slowly doing damage to my neck.

I don't do it, because I think it could hurt your joints, and it just feels too weird when I do it.
