Jimi Hendrix is a little better
Jimi Hendrix didn't live long enough to have a fair competition against a very talented group of musicians, singers and songwriters.Jimi's the one that many guitarists still try to emulate.Led Zeppelin is and always will be in a class of their own.Jimi gets my vote because his style was "earth shattering" with the way he created Blues-Rock and infused Jazz into it.
How can you compare a band and a person.. It doesn't make much sense?I would understand if you compared 2 guitarists.. but this makes no sense.
Led Zep, they had one of the most iconic voices and guitarists in rock history.

Led Zeppelin man! You gotta get your led out! I would always prefer hard, classic rock by druggies than jazzy, light(ish), classic by a dead druggie.
Led Zeppelin is better. More creativity and their song are simply amazing!
Jimmy page was as good as jimi Hendrix. But they had an incredible singer Robert plant and an awesome drummer John bohnam. Overall led zep is a way better band.
