I agree with BlakHawk14, and maybe sort out whatever bug I hear people have been exploiting. There is a glitch that allows peopl to get a ridiculous number of points, and everyone has the same score on the top 10 list. Still, great game.
Somehow I don't think it's that great but it's fun. Good graphics and very catchy tunes. I was a annoyed that sections of the tower shot the same enemy when there are some closer or at the same distance wasting shots that can be spread on multiple enemies instead of a single enemy.
The upgrading and difficulty is good because you need to think what turret you need for the scarce points you have at game start and through the level. It's a simple fun game that's refreshing because you don't need to do much just build and watch people get slaughtered and I think that's the point...this is not planet noevo.
I think the game needs more substance and polish. It's too short and too easy. All you need to do is to figure out the ideal purchase and upgrade pattern. You only ever need magic towers and when things get harder, frost towers. The game needs to be longer, have some sort of story line, more content, more enemies, more difficulty, more of everything.
It's a good idea of a game. It's just very simple. Maybe if they threw in a story line of some kind, more options as you move on in the game, the ability to be able to delete sections of the tower, and overall making the game a little more difficult. Because as everyone says, all you really need to do is figure out the ideal purchase and upgrade pattern. The music from castle crashers was nice though. :P Also, maybe a little bit more player involvement would make the game a little nicer too. The ability to build troops of your own or something? I dunno really. If a Tower of Doom 2 was made, there would be lots of room for improvement, and the chance to really make a much better version of the game based on the same great idea.
Maybe the storyline is that you are trying to conquer all of the lands?

Yeah, bringing out soldiers of your own is a good idea. Maybe you can choose to be a soldier and fight. That would involve the player in the battle more.
