So I know there's was already a thread about this but I stopped looking for it after 5 pages...
But anyways, this will hopefully be the official Black Ops thread. Talk about it, discuss it, etc. Obviously, the game isn't out yet, but w/e. (That was a ****load of commas)

1) You only get two perks in mutliplayer, and this combination of perks determines your third perk. 2) There is a new armour system, e.g. Cold-Blooded and juggernaut are armours you can wear (not much detail given on this). 3) The FAMAS returns, but is no longer a 3-round burst weapon. Instead it is full-auto. 4) There is no M4. Instead another new gun mentioned seems like it will take its place, the SIG Commando. 5) Other new weapons confirmed include the RPK, Skorpion and MAC11. 6) There is no commando perk. (:]) 7) The scavenger perk is included, but no longer replenishes equipment. 8) The One man army perk is also not included. 9) The highest killstreak reward (at this time in devlelopment) is 15. 10) There is no emergency airdrop, but there is a care package. 11) As confirmed before, killstreaks will not stack. For instance, if you get a 5 kills without dying and receive your killstreak reward, the kills you get with that killstreak reward will not count towards your next killsreak (e.g. 7 kill killsteak). You will have to get two more kills, in that instance, by other means to receive your next killstreak. 12) You can sprint to prone in the current build of the game. Basically this means you can dive straight on your belly after sprinting, instead of having to stop, crouch and than go prone. 13) The tactical knife is gone, while a new knife is being introduced: the ballistic knife. This is a knife that has a spring that can shoot a blade (in real life, not necessarily in the game). 14) The claymore is a piece of equipment, and you only get 1 per life. 15) Grenades are not considered equipment, and replenished by scavenger. 16) The M16 is in the game, and still a powerful weapon. (Or as Woody puts it, still the ****!) 17) The PSG1 sniper rifle is in the game. 18) UAV, airstrike and 3 types of helicopters are back as killstreaks. The Pave Low is confirmed as well, and has a feature unique to the game. 19) The SR-71 plane is also one of the killstreak rewards.
"Let me try that again. Sleight of Hand Pro does not work with any sniper class weapon."
I can't tell whether I'm really excited for that, or really disappointed, since I never really did quickscoping in CoD4, only with ACOG -_- but it shouldn't be too bad. At least there's going to be less people quickscoping in Black Ops. I love to QS in Mw2 but I hate when people like me who are really good at it can hit someone with one shot cross map, but when I watch killcams sometimes, people can't even kill me in 3 shots with a qs within 5 feet of me.
i like quickscoping in private matches, it was fun. but i hope that some how private matches have like bonus features, for instance, being able to play mike myers. that would be awesome, but seen as though it isnt going to happen. i think it looks great but as with every game, i have doubt.

Hate quick scoping I am absolutely no good at it hahaha
I hope it doesn't turn out like Modern Warfare 2, MW2 was a piece of poo.
I disagree. When it first came out everyone was so happy and loved it. After playing it for a few months people started to complain about getting "Danger Close Noob Tubed", the spawns and Tactical Insertions. Personally I have only been in 5 or less lobbies with a 'noob tuber' or a pair of boosters. Oh, and I have 10 days online.
My point is people just started getting mad at the game when they died at their 24th kill before the nuke, or AC-130 or Chopper Gunner. It was a fantastic game, and you know something? The people who complain still played the game. If you can't stand the game why play?

The majority of all game problems is the community. If people decided against noob tubes etc then people wouldn't use them, on certain servers (which is hard to do considering the lack of dedicated servers). But due to problems presented with great dissent from PC players, that may be a problem and would be significantly easier if we simply accepted them.
And hackers, I mean let's face it - Valve is a worthless pipe. If it were Punkbuster it would save much more time, pain and general immersion as there simply wouldn't be those annoying and incredibly sad players. Or, if no one hacked at all, another community problem which is seriously frowned upon by other players and not really necessary for achieving anything.
Mostly because they're annoying 12 year olds - stereoypical of course, I am not referring to actual young players (like I am).
Valve - anti hacking system that was mislead to ban 12,000 innocent MW2 players. Punkbuster - effective anti hack system that is rarely flawed and manages to catch hackers quickly.
I also hope they upgrade prestiging. It's not really that exciting to start all over with just one new class. Maybe perk pro's are unlocked straight after the perk is, and the same camo's or some attatchments (though the attatchments won't be necessary as they're fairly cheap and no longer done throughout challenges).
