So I know there's was already a thread about this but I stopped looking for it after 5 pages...
But anyways, this will hopefully be the official Black Ops thread. Talk about it, discuss it, etc. Obviously, the game isn't out yet, but w/e. (That was a ****load of commas)

1) You only get two perks in mutliplayer, and this combination of perks determines your third perk. 2) There is a new armour system, e.g. Cold-Blooded and juggernaut are armours you can wear (not much detail given on this). 3) The FAMAS returns, but is no longer a 3-round burst weapon. Instead it is full-auto. 4) There is no M4. Instead another new gun mentioned seems like it will take its place, the SIG Commando. 5) Other new weapons confirmed include the RPK, Skorpion and MAC11. 6) There is no commando perk. (:]) 7) The scavenger perk is included, but no longer replenishes equipment. 8) The One man army perk is also not included. 9) The highest killstreak reward (at this time in devlelopment) is 15. 10) There is no emergency airdrop, but there is a care package. 11) As confirmed before, killstreaks will not stack. For instance, if you get a 5 kills without dying and receive your killstreak reward, the kills you get with that killstreak reward will not count towards your next killsreak (e.g. 7 kill killsteak). You will have to get two more kills, in that instance, by other means to receive your next killstreak. 12) You can sprint to prone in the current build of the game. Basically this means you can dive straight on your belly after sprinting, instead of having to stop, crouch and than go prone. 13) The tactical knife is gone, while a new knife is being introduced: the ballistic knife. This is a knife that has a spring that can shoot a blade (in real life, not necessarily in the game). 14) The claymore is a piece of equipment, and you only get 1 per life. 15) Grenades are not considered equipment, and replenished by scavenger. 16) The M16 is in the game, and still a powerful weapon. (Or as Woody puts it, still the ****!) 17) The PSG1 sniper rifle is in the game. 18) UAV, airstrike and 3 types of helicopters are back as killstreaks. The Pave Low is confirmed as well, and has a feature unique to the game. 19) The SR-71 plane is also one of the killstreak rewards.
Every time there's an update on the state of the game it just appears more gimmick-filled. Of course, Treyarch have been kind enough to remove the game-breaking factors from Modern Warfare 2 and implement things that weren't in Modern Warfare 2.
These gimmicks will help sales, but the formula for the gameplay looks absolutely unchanged. Sure they added new weapons and maps and killstreaks but that doesn't look like the way Treyarch are trying to market and attract consumers. It looks impressive, but the last time a developer made pointless additions to help sales . . .

I honestly have no objections to these montage making and tattoo designers, these skin changes or crossbows but honestly, they could have been more inventive with what they added and actually approached the concept of revolutionising the franchise, because that's how developers get the trust and respect from customers. Call of Duty 4 flipped the series upside down, it hadn't been done before and it was utterly different from its predecessors. Treyarch are now the last remaining hope for Call of Duty and need to show they can replicate Infinity Ward's former actions.
I am afraid as a search player of the "Camper Camera" (Camera Stick) The reason for this is because if someone is hiding in a building and plants a Stick at A when my entire team is there, he pops out and kills us all. Also, if the Ballistic Knife has a cross-map range and no arc over range, i have a problem.
Also, the uber summersault to avoid grenades and such, i see this becoming annoying when everyone will be dropshotting after they flip. And with the RC car at 3 kills. There has never been a killing killstreak at 3. you always just got UAV Recon. You may be thinking, "so?" If you are, they can use a RC car to drive around and kill 2 people in a bunch to get either your Care package and spawn rape or get your missile BS that can go in a window.

Black Ops = Fears
I couldn't agree with you more. If Treyarch was truly and honestly listening to the community, they would already know that we hate campers. Unfortunately, they are helping out campers even more. I'm also afraid that the RC car will be the buzzkiller, spawnkilling, Predator Missile of Black Ops. Also, because it's a three killstreak, they will constantly be going around the map.

About the first video..
Don't flip out over that semi automatic rocket launcher and gatling gun. They're both killstreaks and care-package drops.
I noticed one thing that was missing from MW2 in the footage. RECOIL.
This game actually seems decent, at least better than MW2 so far..
And people people people, stop making so many assumptions so quickly. Don't jump to conclusions. The game hasn't been released yet so don't get your panties in a twist.

Other info: You don't unlock guns through leveling anymore. You earn "currency" or "cod points" and purchase weapons, perks, and other nifty gear with those.
Zombie crap??? nazi zomies was awesome! OH my plane knowledge is gonna kill me if i dont correct this... The SR-71 blackbird (or the YF-12) was RECON, so idk what it does.
