Buying a wii just for Mario Galaxy 2?!?!? i wouldnt, i like it better than the first galaxy, but i dont think their are any games hardcore enough on wii just to buy it for. IMO other classic Nintendo character games like Metroid Prime 3:Corruption, are waaay better. If their are several games on wii, or are a fan of, then i would say yes. Unfortunately their are not a ton of good games for wii.
I have had my Wii almost since Wii first came out, and I only have 6 games, Mario Galaxy 1&2, Monster Hunter 3, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and, of course, Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Buying for just one game probably isn't the best idea. Galaxy 2 is one of the best games to have, but not one that should make you buy the Wii just for it. If you are going to get a Wii, get Monster Hunter Tri, due to its sheer awesomeness, Brawl, another must have, and possibly the Conduit, even though the second one is coming out November 2, as well as a game called Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon:Future Soldier, which is also coming out later this year.( October 1st to be precise.) So, if you do decide to buy a Wii, don't just buy one game.
If you haven't already considered a Wii for a while then your not really a Nintendo fan and buying a console only for 1 game isn't worth it. It's a great game along with many others but no one game justifies a purchase.
you rather get an Wii emulator and just buy wii controler and connect it to your PC
2nd gen emulators work horribly and 3rd gen practically don't work at all or don't exist.
Mario galaxy 2 is an awesome game. same with the first. but i would wait for the Wii U to come out so you don't have to suffer with the loss of money for 2 systems. then you can get better quality graphics and cool games for it.
I don't get people who buy an entire console for one game, while Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a very good game, it is not worth the hundred-odd dollars for the Wii. I'd save up a little and also get Red Steel 2, No More Heroes 1 and 2, Zelda: Twilight Princess, and later, Zelda: Skyward sword. They're the best games the wii has available, but buying into a console, especially the lowest-quality console of this generation that's getting replaced within 10 months, is a very risky venture.
defenitely NOT. honestly i didnt like galaxy 2 at all. its a nice game but the i enjoyed the first much better. i just played through the first waiting for it to end. i played galaxy twice and loved it. i played galaxy 2 once and didnt like it
Buying a console for one game is insane. But it has a lot of fun exclusive games, if you're gonna buy one at least get more than SMG2. It's a great game, but paying that much for it... no.
