I always thought the most common phobia was the phobia of speaking in front of a crowd. Meaning people would rather die (literally) than go up in front of a crowd and talk.
Maybe it is the snake one now. But they aren't too bad, I like em. :P
I have a fear of heights, can't remember what the name of it is though. Its the one fear I have yet to overcome.
That's called acrophobia, Moe.
I have a fear of simply being useless, either working until I am not longer able to do my job as well as possible, or of having no marketable skills... Don't know what that's called.
I thought stage fright (dont know the phobia name) was the most common But wait i also found something claiming Arachniphobia is #1 And something saying snakes is #1... Curse you Internet
I used to be afraid of moving on, but I got over it.
Lol! Agreed, funny. :P Some phobias are just strange. There's a phobia for almost everything. There's even one of having peanut butter stuck to the roof of your mouth.
I have two phobias: Acrophobia (fear of heights) and atychiphobia (fear of failure).
I have the latter so bad, I will literally quit whatever I'm doing if I feel like I might fail, even do nothing. This makes me fail, making it worse. D:
