In case you haven't heard, Microsoft is making a new thing for Xbox360 called 'Kinect'. Where you're body IS the controller. Here is Xbox's YOUtube channel to learn more. http://www.youtube.com/xbox Tell me about your expectations for this. Will it be good or not?
To you maybe. Others might think xbox is more about FPS games.
On topic: Finally xbox user can actually move more than their fingers. Only downside is that it'll probably be more accurate than the Wii controllers...
Yeah i watched ALL of the E3 press conferences live, including that freakin stunt Micro$oft pulled. Honestly though, Micro$oft and $ony just wait around for a good idea (Wii) then they jump all over it (the motion). $ony even flat out copied the Wiimote design. And it cost $80 dollars for the entire thing (The remote and the other part). Wiis controllers only cost $50 for the entire thing. Sure you can say "oh they made the controls better $ony is the best". Most people who think that are newer, Nintendo were the ones who revolutionized gaming, they have the classics, they werent just in it for the money, they dont have a $ in their name. Nintendo is THE classic, and it allways will be. And the 3DS, im worried about it, i hope they have something to prevend $ony from poppin a freakin PSP3D, that would ruin even more.
ps. The other systems arent bad their good i play them all (I dont have a Ps3 though). Im just saying they should get their own ideas.
Thank you for bearing with me through this outburst i enjoyed having!!!
To be honest I can't say I'm impressed with this years E3, as it is just telling us more info on things we already knew about. The Kinect games were basically a collection of Wii ripoffs from what I could tell, though granted I will make note that some might actually work better with the Kinect motion controller, such as the fitness game....its not really a game to me. The only Kinect game I saw that looked like it had any promise was of course Metal Gear Solid Rising, which let you cut people and buildings(and for some reason watermelons) in any direction you wanted to using your hands(I'm guessing holding a wooden sword in your hands could make it feel more realistic while your playing?) so overall I'm still waiting to see how this plays out, seeing as how the only promise I see this having is being used subtly in games that for the most part would otherwise use the controller by itself. Either way the current predicted price for it is $150. If this turns out to be true then its unlikely that I will be buying it for price alone, unless they come out with quite a few games worth using with Kinect.

the thing was though wii was almost a fail. i mean sure its fun sometimes but has a massive lack of games. sony and microsoft also have more money so theyre stuff is also better quallity.
but the ps3's controllers are alot better you have to admit. and i honestly think that kinnect for the xbox is a waste of money. its just a suped up eye toy
Wii for the 360.. good for a party trick, then it will get old real quick. No buy for me, a hardcore gamer that thinks that the controller is the only way to go with modern games.
