I'm thinking about getting a new laptop soon (the one I'm using right now is really old). And I was wondering which brand is the best, for the thing I'm looking for.

I'm looking for a lightweight, small-ish(13-15in), good memory, good hard drive, and the price ranges from 400-800 USD. And if I missed anything let me know.

why not get a ipad maybe a little expensive but it may be worth it

Ipads are basically like big ipod touches.
I've been looking around and yeah, I might decide between an Inspiron or an HP.

I have an HP Pavillion DV7. It's a good all-around computer and it could run games pretty well. It's like $750 I think.

The Specs are:
AMD Turion 2 Dual Core Mobile M500 2.2m GHz Processor
Ram - 3 GB
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (I modded it like crazy so everything looks beast)
250 Gigabyte Harddrive
AMD M880G's with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200
Atheros Wireless 802.11 b/g/n Networking (Wireless N lolz)
Hi-Def Audio
Lightscribe enabled DVD/DVD-RW/CD-RW drive
Built In Microphone (Microphone port as well)
SD card (Along with some other stuff) slot
HDMI compatible (You can hook it up and use your hdtv like a monitor
6 cell battery (I get about 3 hrs of life depending on what your doing)
High Definition LED monitor

Got it for about 500 bucks
(I dont think I forgot to mention any features)

Why not try pcmag.com they mention both the pros and cons of a computer and also have a pretty good way of narrowing down your option...
