firstly idc theres a mw2 thread it has too many posts and dif minitopics on it and secondly why dont iw take out tact insertions they ruin the game they have no purpose other then boosting and all my mates have started boosting and it is taking the piss and seriously thinking about going on cod 5 or 4 or bioshock2 because they annoy me that much
Tactical Insertions are an advantage, and if you dont like them that much dont play MW2?? And also, you can destroy them, not like there permanent, and in some cases you can camp on them, which gives you in the advantage
Also, as a COD MW2 player i use tactical insertions when i am playing an objective. You would not believe how handy they are in game types like capture the flag, demolition and sometimes even team death. They are used when you are using tactics to stay close or hide.
Sure some use them to boost, but they also use riot shields to boost, should they rid those from the game? no. Its concept of the game that can come in handy id used correctly, and if you find they annoying or useless then simply don't use them, and if you find people boost, you can use sitrep to simply FIND them.

You should care. Last post is one of the most commonly read and responded to posts. Don't spam the forums, I'm fed up of seeing MW2 and MW2 only threads swamp the first five pages.

Have you not yet realised IW don't bat an eyelid to anyone's concerns? They won't update the game when people want it, they'll just give you what they want with a ridiculous price-tag.

Actually, you can use the tactical insertion strategically, whether or not other do is an entirely different matter. I used to use the tactical insertion near enemy flags (or anything else I had to capture) so that I could come back for multiple shots in succession.

You see? You're pissed off with the game but you don't quit. I'd suggest playing one of those games for the next week or so and coming back to MW2 when you're less pissed off with the bollocks and other nooby antics that crop up in multiplayer.

Indeed. Just like you can shotgun a knife runner, or RPG a noobtuber, you can block and shoot them when they come to see who ruined their tactical insertion, or you could just wait for them to spawn and stab them in the back. There are many ways to counter-act a tactical insertion and if they're so rife you're bound to find one sooner or later and make it work to your advantage.
indeed, usually, i like boosters. haha, one time, in Skidrow, two guys had placed tact insertions, killed them both, got a pred missile, hence, a harrier, hence, a Pave low, see? not all tact insertions are bad. i like tact insertions, not using them, but using other peoples to my advantage.
Trumpetfury, exactly, me too, Tactical Insertions can be a huge advantage to the person that placed it, or a huge disadvantage, just keep that in mind Gamer_Cale.

Get 4,6, or 8 people. go to the free for all lobby by yourself, and depending on your connection, invite all 4,6, or 8 of your people ( i recommend you invite the party) and they come as fast as possible. If it says MATCHED PLayer,then it is them. Use tac insertions to boost. ANd there is your boosting tac insertion lobby!
Tactical Insertions DO have a purpose other than boosting. You use them to flank the other team, because if you die you will respawn where ever you lay it. Therefor giving you and advantage and a change to flank from behind, if you don't see the real purpose for them besides boosting, then I'm guessing you don't know to much about Mw2.
Tactical Insertions I see are most used by Boosters. They pop a tact insertion down, some one kills them they go back there and they repeat these steps... This is what is called Boosting.

Are you kidding me, people have used that since the game first came out, plus thats going to get a lot of deaths on your stats.
This is were sitrep pro comes in handy ^_^ . The only reason I see for using a Tactical Insertion is for a game mode, but because I only play Merc. Team Death Match I don't see that happening.
