So I was just on an undisclosed site(Digg) when I found something I found to be quite interesting. Basically there is a program called Cleverbot which is basically an AI that you can have conversations with(some very strange conversations at times) and I thought I would share it with you guys in case you have not heard of it yet.

My main objective here is to see what you guys here at AG think about it. Creepy? Awesome? Skynet? but on another note also what it could mean for the future of AI possibly?
Erm, didn't you read the last part of Gantic's post? Here we are to discuss about Cleverbot itself, while the other thread is for posting your "discussions" with Cleverbot.
While Cleverbot itself simply picks up upon people's input, it's rather fascinating to be honest. Creepy at times.
You expect to get good discussion concerning Cleverbot in three month old, abandoned Forum Games thread? That is a fun little thread made for lulzworthy conversations to be posted in. This thread is one where the OP is asking for users' opinions on Cleverbot.
It's pretty cool considering it learns what to say from what other people have said to it. One day I was talking to it for about an hour and it was really funny.
