That there hasn't even been 20 Raze threads yet? Surprising when you actually look for the information.
Raze is about as interesting as Unreal Flash and I don't like playing the same game twice. I can't even get halfway into either GemCraft.
Well, the caps kinda hurt my eyes. Gantic, change the title to General Raze Discussion or somethin'...
The raze clans kinda are dead though. Since there's no multiplayer there's nothing to do besides compare scores, showing kill streaks and people's progress.
Favorite weapons list:
1. Rocket launcher- I just rock with it 2. Grenade launcher- I like using splash damage to kill the Al. And doing death beyond the grave. 3. Sniper rifle- Headshot master? 4. Shotgun- I know you have to be at point blank range for 1 hit KO. And I like doing that. =D 5. Railgun- Slow but good damage 6.Zapper- Sort of weak but awesome weapon. 7. Uzi- Fun to use? 8. Assault rifle- Damage modding it to x4 damage is fun. 9. Magnum- Good times...not really.. 10. Chaingun- Too much lag, and it's weak, bad accuracy...
My best K/D for a match is 108-2.
The competition is kind of Raze VS Unreal Flash. Since they're similar games. Except Raze a better version of it. But both more without mutliplayer....
As for the Raze mutliplayer. The creators said they possibly will put mutliplayer for Raze 2. But they said they're currently working on two different games. So, there hasn't been much news about Raze 2 since they announced about Raze 2.
I play Raze on Armorgames and Kong. My profile is better on Kong. But I've played Raze more often on AG.
And maybe, this will turn into a GRD, General Raze Discussion.
I like raze more than unreal flash. My profile on kong was better than on AG. But, now it is better here. I can complete human campaign with less than 20 deaths now. (My keyboard and mouse are sticky now. Don't know why but, I am not liking it.)
It's quite obvious that most people like Raze more than Unreal flash
But some people like Unreal Flash better because Unreal Flash was created first and Raze is almost exactly the same.Or they pick Unreal Flash because Raze has no CTF mentioned as Capture the Flag.
Some people pick Raze better because it's a more better version of Unreal Flash. Or that Raze has better graphics than Unreal Flash.
Though some complain about Raze's campaign difficulty. They blame the game. When they have no skill. It's just stupid...They should just practice in quick match, and when they get a good hang of it they can try that hard level they were stuck on the campaign. That's why some of the game's ratings are screwed because of dumb people who don't know what they are talking about. Oh well, we can't do anything about it...
I think there's a lot of hype on this forum, but I can't really get into the game. I've tried, just not my genre of choice it seems. Kinda like the two warfare games, two of the most played games on all of armor games (warfare 1917 has like... 20mil+ plays), yeah, I played them, they're easy. The depth is deceptive, it's really fairly simple.
For Raze, I admit, it is definitely a skill based game, however, not that intriguing to me. What I see raze as in terms of campaign is you start as a super soldier fighting idiots that are easy peasy to kill and move up to being a grunt fighting supersoldiers who can take three times more damage than you. The gameplay itself is the exact same, it's literally just harder, you take less damage, they take more damage.
Also, I do agree that it's very similar to unreal flash. It has more streamlined graphics and a bit more streamlined gameplay too (although, unreal flash had secondary functions for each weapons). But it's a side scrolling shooter, with a variety of weapons just like unreal flash.
Well, it's good to work out in the quick match match option, and hype yourself, or get the hang of it. And when you think you are pretty good at it already. Try out the difficult level again. If you lose keep trying. You would win eventually. No worries.
I agree that it gets really hard in the Alien campaign. It's beacuse of the robots. They have tons of health, 500 HP to be exact, and you have only about 100. So, they would just 1 hit KO you with a railgun or something that's good.
Especially, level 26, probably the most hardest level in the game. You'd likely lose many of your first tries. I haven't beaten it yet. So, I'm doing my strategy to get myself much better with the weapons. So, I can beat. Though, I still think I'm not that good if it yet.
