These are the top ten rated internet browsers. here's the link
Now, don't go off saying this is totally wrong and such. It has evidence! Now, I don't completely agree with this, but, you should see it before we make the umpteenth thread debating which internet browser is the best! Now, don't go saying that mozzila firefox sucks and stuff like that, because here's another website that rated it the best: here
I have used Internet explorer, which i prefer, firefox, and safari. Internet explorer i think is better because i couldnt get to a ton of sites on firefox that i could on explorer. Explorer also seemed faster. the computer i used had both firefox and explorer btw
It is.. But by what? Like 1 second? Come on they do this for the money, and Google just wants to take over the world! Well No, But I don't know.. maybe they do.
but i use the fastest web browser and untill firefox is faster then chrome, i will continue to use chrome
You can set FF to be 10x as fast as chrome. It's dependant on your RAM. Go in FF, type about:config , search for memory, the offline online and storage should each be about 10mb off, Google 300mb in bytes and change each value proportionately.
I tried almost all of them. I stick with four. I use opera the most, firefox second, safari third (for my email), and google chrome when my computer keeps freezing. It's better when your computer freezes for some reason. If you have it for a long time (like I did) it gets REALLY slow though.
Link 1 and 3 is has the exact same rankings with the exact same websites. "Maybe its a coincidence!" There is no way in hell that you could get the same exact rankings for 10 websites. I say your evidence is invalid and doesnt count.
I have tried 4 of the browsers and probably Google Chrome tops them.
Why is internet explorer third? Opera is much better and Safari is equivalent, if not better. From the 5th starting, I have never seen, used or heard of any of them.
All four reviews (not sure about the third) seem to place firefox in first and google chrome in second, so I was summarizing overall. The first one also seems to have the most comprehensive data.

ROFL no... Having lots of RAM doesn't make your web browser soooooo much faster and it won't help the Java script load and a bunch of other things they check for in speed. WHAT NOW?!?!?
Uhm, nothing.
My PC laptop on FF using same connection as Mac laptop (slightly better ghz) using chrome loads pages in half a second compared to mac's chrome's 3 seconds. Before blurting out someone's wrong, try it.
i like Firefox A LOT its a excellent browser i love the open source its way speedier with ad-block plus an also you can tweak it to go even faster than it already is great browser
The first link you posted is a tad outdated or just wrong.
Under where it is comparing everything via a table and check marks, it says that Chrome doesn't have: add ons, customization, spell check, and support for mac.
Chrome has all of these things. Also, the last two links that you posted basically mean nothing. Just because a site says that something is the best does not mean that it is. Both of those sites don't even give reasons. The second link that you posted is the only one that actually gives reasons and in depth reviews. But even then, choosing a browser is all opinion.
I prefer chrome because it is speedy and simplistic. It isn't as cluttered as firefox and it is much faster both in start up time and just general web browsing, yet it still is customizable is the google chrome extensions and the themes. Just a sleek browser overall in my opinion.
