Eh, I don't really see this as a "Review" I see it as you rating each of the game types, e.g. Campaign, Zombies, Multiplayer. In my opinion WaW sucked, it wasn't made my IW and it worse then any CoD game.
I personally like it, it's not as great as MW2 because in WaW you can't customize and it is much easier to see enemies. What I do like about WaW is that the rifle grenade is the last onlock on the rifle and not the first. Also, there aren't any insane kill streak combos like Pave low, Chopper gunner, and AC130s. I would give it a 8/10
Sorry bro, but that review was not very good. First things first, a review always has to include things that are wrong with the game. You did not do so. Call Of Duty: World At War is a good game, but I would not go as far as saying it's better than Modern Warfare 2. Here, I'll show you how I would do it.
[/b]Campaign: The campaign is good, but it's definitely not better than Modern Warfare 2. I don't think anything can beat Modern Warfare 2. World At War's campaign is fun, but very frustrating if you are playing on Veteran. Sometimes you'll randomly die while walking on that shit. But on Hardened, the game is actually pretty fun. As far as the story goes, it follows the story of World War II pretty good. And that's definitely a good thing.
[b]Multiplayer: The Multiplayer is fun for a good three months(Especially with friends). It's just like Modern Warfare 1, only it takes place in the 40's. There are plenty of levels, and most of them are good. The weapons are also really good too. The Multiplayer is probably the gold in this game(along with Nazi Zombies).
[/b]Graphics: The graphics, I think are decent. They look like something from a Playstation 2 game. They are definitely not as good as you described them. In some places they are okay. But in most cases, it's nothing to fuss over.
Nazi Zombies: One of the funnest things I have ever played. If you are looking to play with friends, this is it. This is the only reason I kept the game after beating it. Nazi Zombies is AMAZING. I'm going to rent the game soon, just because I want to play it. After playing it, it's like an addiction. You can't go too long without playing it.
So Call Of Duty: World At War is pretty good game. It definitely doesn't go farther than Modern Warfare 2 though. When, or if you buy this game, do not expect the campaign to be awesome. It won't be. The best thing about this game is both the Multiplayer and the Campaign. Overall the game is about a 8.5 out of 10[b].
Didn't like your review that much either, Alpha Phat - you went in to too many little details, say why multiplayer or single player is fun, elaborate on them thoughts with why you think that but specifying how frustrating it is on Veteran, giving approximate figures like 3 months etc. all makes the review sound "in my experience" and try to avoid that at all times when writing a review.

Haha id defs say its better than MW2, as MW2s online was horribly made. I already said my bit on that. so look under the MW2 thread for my arguement as why it was an epic failure. Anyways this games Nazi zombies was amazing. Number 1 reason why this game was popular, and why it destroyed MW2 spec ops. The only thing MW2 barely beats WAW by is the campaign, just because theres no infinite respawning enemies. Other than that, MW2s storyline has too many holes, but was perty interesting at the same time. So overall COD waw would win in the fight for me, but thats just me.
It's my favorite of the Call of Duty Series. I'd give it a 10/10 for its fun-ness, and then a 9.9 overall. .05 of a point gets taken off because of the MP40, and .05 off because there's a rifle grenade. I had the most fun playing this game out of any CoD game. I loved the story a lot because Reznov was a BAMF. I also loved playing Nazi Zombies and like how they kept making new Zombies to keep avid CoD players pre-Mw2 satisfied.

here's why, first of all the balancing isn't all that good, you can clearly say that one gun is better than another. also there is much less customization, martydom was not nerfed as much as i would have liked and the matches were so much laggeier i don't know how many times there was "connection interupted and would rewind the game. besides new nazi zombies maps the map packs su------
