Dear God what was the creator thinking making the game start out that hard? I just spent an hour trying all sorts of possibilities and combinations and either I just suck that bad or he made the game waaaaay too hard starting off at level 1.

I think it is not designed to be that impossible.

If you look at fujistu defender, the difficulty of the monsters in each waves was roughly the same as in wasteland defender.

The difference is that towers leveled at 100 XP
In wasteland defender, i had a tower at wave 14 being at 1150 XP and always level 1.

At wave 14 a level 1 tower does not deal enough damage, it is just making the game impossible.

I think then it is a bug, the towers are certainly supposed to level up like in fujistu defender, but for some reason they do not.

The developer has certainly not tested before release if the leveling was working correctly.

The game it self isn't that hard, even with the tower levelling issue. The problem is you're not receiving enough funds, to buy what you need to.

hahaha, yeah I'm not sure what to do now but to keep trying all and any sorts of combos and hopefully something works out

the autor wrote a comment, that a bug version is uploaded and he can't update it by himself..

The game has kinda easy for me but yea the 1st levels are pretty hard for a start.

liked fijustu defender better spent a whole day on that game. this one was dissapointing...

The level bug has been fixed, the game now works very well, i just tried it and could then won the 1st level.
Now it works correctly, and it seems as good as his previous "fujitsu tower defense".

I didn't very much like Famitsu defender, though I do usually like TD games...

The problem is there isn't really anything special in this series' TD games. Something missing in them, though don't know how to explain it.

It's horribly OP

Imagine a turret dealing 100's of AOE damage going faster than a machinegun
