Yeah I'm gonna get the expansion, BFBC2 is my favorite shooter without a doubt. And I'm gonna get this because I am sure that they will have new weapons and vehicles (I can't remember an expansion in which they didn't). So I'd love to have some of them in my arsenal
I think it will be more close-quarters, maybe offer a more CoD-style gameplay, as I'd appreciate a little geurilla fighting anyway
They should also add these bird figures, and if you shoot a sniper too close to them they'll fly off making a noticeable and loud noise, that'd be awesome

I <3 the Spitfires and Awacs in Battlefield 1942, I call myself Scawa on Bad Company 2 (see what I did thar?), should I also call myself Seriftips, that doesn't sound like a bad name to be honest ! Anyway... Can't wait! To be honest though this is an expansion with more stuff at less price than it is for the 2 DLC's of MW2, wtf? Well, I reckon that anyway. £30 for 2 DLC's or £25(? I got BFBC2 for that on a PREORDER) for an expansion (more maps, weapons and VEHICLES unlike MW2, and a campaign). It's not hard to weigh it out...
Medics and Snipers galore + Bad hit detector =Battlefield Bad Company2 I want my Money for that game back >:I
1. Hit detectors fine, needs more focus - that's it.
2. How the **** is it Medic / Sniper Galore? Each one has a different operation: Assault - Backing up teammates, obstructions in places and the best shooter. Medics - Running about reviving teammates / backing up teammates Recon - Spotting, Mortars and Sniping Engineer - Good close-quarters, and repairing.
Engineer can get easy points by repairing. Assault can get easy points with better weapons (for the most part, AN-94 FTW!) and gadgets (with occasional Ammo kit). Recon can get probably the most kills, aswell as removing vehicles via C4 or cover via Mortars, even good spotting points. Medic can get good points by running around reviving and medics, though people don't tend to stay near the medic kits for some reason. They still get alot of points though.
The points are done properly unlike MW2 where the only strategic bonus you gain points with is Riot Shield, that's it. It's a better game than all shooters I can think off, CoD, other BF's, all of them (btw MW2 Stole the throwing knife idea of BF, as they had it in I think Battlefield 1942: Vietnam). So ya know, simplez.
1) Using AN-94 the I empty a whole clip into a guy and he doesn't die.... and it was Close-Quarter-Combat to boot
Unsure what to say, each gun is hard to handle and you gotta time it properly, other than that, lag.
2) 80% of the people I play in BFBC2 are snipers and medics I rarely ever see an Assault or Engineer player.......
So play smart and be one of the other 2, just because there are more of them doesn't mean they're better. And I haven't seen so much really, more assault than anything I guess.
Recon just sit at the edge of a map like little pansies
Go assault and noobtube them, or just flank. It is hard really but with some strategic thinking it isn't that hard (I like finding a challenge by avoiding them while still getting points ). Also Engineer / Medic of course.
Medics just sit in a corner waiting
Never seen that before, just blow open the wall. And if they hide in a mountain corner or something it isn't hard to use C4 / NoobTube / Rocket Launcher on him if you know where he is.
And the ****ing shotguns reach you from half-a-mile away
AA12 Can hit an enemy 70 yards away in real life. Just be happy it isn't so powerful that far away And for barely any damage
This game is for more finesse players, not adrenline rush WTFXPWNED nerdragers (I am not calling you one, just saying what it seems to be made for), snipers camp, medics support, assault blow stuff up and engineers support. The 2 most important in a match with vehicles is Medic + Engineer. There you have a healthy dose of Healing, Explosives, Repairs and firepower. Oh and if you do get shot by a sniper it means you are in an easy choke point / not moving enough - even snipers need to move sometimes (after each shot usually).
And as I believe I said, it's better compared to MW2, I think you should try that if you don't like this (Seems like the problems ur having are ones not in MW2)

Hehe thanks man, I know what it feels like though, being loyal to a game. If someone asks me what my favorite RPG is I always refer to the Fable Series, simply because of what it taught me when I was younger (which I seriously think made me a better person, I know, it's sad ).

Also I'd like to reiterate this quote from myself. What I mean is that there's more points to be made like this. If there's lacking Assault go resupply people. If it's lacking engineers, repair some of your vehicles. If you're missing out medics, revive them (Or respawn, lol ) If they're lacking Recons, you're safe Recon = Lone Wolf, sorry folks

Thoroughly defending BFBC2 here, while I always agree with it, MW2 does have more adrenline rush than BFBC2 mostly. But the rare moments of sprinting away from a falling down building (just barely) or dodging light tank shots through the walls (epic...) is more than what a Bullet Penetration Shot on MW2 can do, except sometimes.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYklBxOI44I
