According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most.
Type of Cognitive Processing Linear - Processing information from part to whole; in a straight forward logical progression. Sequential - Processing information in order from first to last. Symbolic - Processes symbols an pictures; likes to use letters, words and mathematical symbols. Logical - Processes information piece by piece using logic to solve a problem. Verbal - Processes thoughts and ideas with words. Reality-Based - Processes information based on reality; focuses on rules and regulations.
Not surprising results. But thanks for taking the time to find a test for us strop
No problem. The test is pretty simplistic in that it doesn't pretend to do anything more than dichotomise hemispheric dominance. I'd like to see if there's a test that actually measures degree of bias, or more importantly, degree of function across hemispheres, because I know I'm more right-brained than left, but if I didn't have decent analytical processes, I wouldn't be able to function in my occupation!
Holistic - Processing information from whole to part; sees the big picture first, not the details. Random - Processing information with out priority, jumps form one task to another. Concrete - Processes things that can be seen , or touched - real objects. Intuitive - Processes information based on whether or not it feels right know answer but not sure how it was derived. Nonverbal - Processes thought as illustrations. Fantasy-Oriented - Processes information with creativity; less focus on rules and regulations
Describes me perfectly. Especially the holistic part.
Well, now it's settled, I'm boring... Left brain btw. Linear Processing information from part to whole; in a straight forward logical progression. Sequential Processing information in order from first to last. Symbolic Processes symbols an pictures; likes to use letters, words and mathematical symbols. Logical Processes information piece by piece using logic to solve a problem. Verbal Processes thoughts and ideas with words. Reality-Based Processes information based on reality; focuses on rules and regulations
You responded as a right brained person to 0 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 18questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most. The summary briefly describes your dominance type. Remember, this only represents half of the picture. After you read the description, click on the link at the bottom of the page to find out how to use this information to improve your study strategies. Do not forget to print your results, if your instructor has requested you to do so.
Some of the traits associated with the left side of the brain are listed in the table. Not all of the traits will apply to you. Remember, we use both side of our brain, but your left sides gets the most exercise.

Brief Description

Symbolic Processes symbols an pictures; likes to use letters, words and mathematical symbols. Logical Processes information piece by piece using logic to solve a problem. Verbal Processes thoughts and ideas with words. Reality-Based Processes information based on reality; focuses on rules and regulations
(so a basic summary of this is that I'm mostly a left-brained person)

I did the test. I responded as a right brained person to 9 questions, and I responded as a left brained person to 9 questions It says that my left hemisphere is dominant one. I had a feeling that the result would be this. I am mostly a Rational, Objective, Sequential person, but I am also Random and Intuitive.
"You responded as a right brained person to 4 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 14questions."

From the questions alone I would think that I don't use my left brain nowhere near as much as implied, since I had little to no preference on most of the questions and I would have rather opted for a mix of both choices, rather than picking a choice that I have a slight preference of, or at random. Although the cognitive processing rundown seems to quite accurately describe me.

I got 11 right-brained and 7 left-brained, which doesn't really surprise me. I'm towards the middle, favoring the right a bit. None of the listed traits for right-brain really applied to me all that much though.
