That is a cool idea I like text signatures more #####...######...######...## #.......#....#...#....#...## #.......#....#...#....#...## #####...######...######...##### But for some reason text signatures get messy here....
Couldn't we always add the 'simple-style' and 'full-experience' feature that some forums have? For people who don't want the forums to load slower on their computer they can just choose the simplified option that doesn't have signatures. However, those people that want their posts all fancied up and want to see other peoples signatures can go for the full experience.
This is an awesome suggestion.
As for the rest of the thread, it's getting locked because it's a common suggestion that has once been discussed to death and well yeah. I'm sort of meh about signatures myself - I rarely use them for anything in places where you can have them, and as long as they're smaller than the average post, I don't mind them (sucks when the sig takes more space than the post itself).
