dog, They're just so much more active. I would get tired of having a pet that does nothing all day.

Dog, as kyouzou said they are more active aswell as interactive, unlike cats who tend to enjoy solitude.

Cats do do funny things, have you ever seen lolcats? loldogs isn't AS funny. PLus, they're so cuddly. Dogs are mot active, though. They are also more rough, so you can scratch them pretty hard, which I enjoy.

A dog. It is a better choice also it's the way you train it. Yes cats=more cuteness but dogs= Safeness like a Guide Dog or a Guard dog. Think people Think!

Dog, i agree with all the reasons above they are the best bet, although if you have maybe 2 cats that would be better than 1 because you get more interaction than you do from 1 cat
