Yes. At last. It's the tuk-tuk we've all been waiting for. It's called - logically enough - the 'Tuk Tuk Boom Boom'. It's a 'thank you' present from developer Avalanche to the Just Cause 2 community and it's free to download now. Look at it. It's a humble auto rickshaw converted into a magnificent motorised beast with massive testicles.

As well as having an enormous piece of heavy artillery in the back, this three-wheeled motor vehicle features: "heavily reinforced and multi-layered carbon fibre composite shielding, a polycarbonate laminated armour windscreen and quad front-mounted air horns."

In other words, it is CAPTAIN BAD ASS.

-What do you think??

I think this is the wrong section to post this in.

It's sort of an event...

Huh? World Event? More like a video game event, which should be posted in its appropriate section.

Oh, and this looks fishy to me. Sounds like advertising. Normally only advertisers walk into a place and make their first post advocating a product. In this case, a custom vehicle from the game Just Cause 2.

Wow.
Like it's goint to stay in one pice, after a 105 fires.
Tank cannon are meant to stay on tank; otherwise the recoil of that little baby would shred the vehicle to crumbles.

Perhaps they used a recoiless rifle?

Recoiless weapon are a lot smaller.
Also, a recoiless weapon (bazooka like) would need about 7 yards of empty space behind, to avoid killing someone or putting something on fire. That is a rear charged weapon, were it recoiless, where should hide the recharger?

Actually I used that suggestion because you hinted that it may be a 105mm weapon, which was the most common caliber fielded in recoiless during the 50s and 60s. They also ranged from 76mm to 120mm if my memory serves.

Perhaps that's part of the design... it delivers a healthy dose of lethality both fore and aft Honestly sounds perfect for a video game vehicle and were it real I'd love to have one. Not only could I eliminate the traffic blocking my path, but the jerk that's tailgating me would get his comeuppance as well!

goood points, but its a video game :P isnt always uber-realistic
and a weak point to the vehicle: couldnt a zombie or person simply grab you and tear you right off it? it has no doors at all and looks very vulnerable when not moving

Yeah, this is definitely more a "video game" topic than a WEPR topic, so I'll move it. Also changed the title slightly to comply with the forum censor.

Also, has anybody here actually played Just Cause? It's a blast but if only the vehicle physics made a little more sense...

Um, we're playing a video game here. Real-life constraints do not matter. Oh, and are there any zombies in that game? Really?

Ah, sorry Strop I haven't gotten to playing the game.

Couldn't you be shot from the side? That would suck and would kill you if you in a chase. A chase with guns.
