I would prefer guitar because i play guitar cherry stratacuster with wammy bar. I used to skate not as fun as guitar Btw to get really really good its not as easy as it looks guys anyone can play like Mission impossible theme song :P
dude i hate the gay stereotypes they piss me off you skateboard your a bad person every cop hates skate boarders and every person in like the entire world thinks skaters are bad people
Well people, stereotypes are there for a reason you know. I don't like the attitude pertaining to skateboard, but I don't think all of them skaters are drugged douches; the fact is, since a good lot of 'em actually are drugged douches, you've no choice but to deal with it, it's sad, I know. Of course, I speak on behalf of my own experiences; I come from a small town owned by the local biker gangs where drugs are pretty easy to come by, and since there's not much to do, boredom often leads to Sex/Drugs/Alcohol, thus the high ratio of skater/smokers In any case, I'd rather be good at guitar, as I said before: music has this potential of elevating your soul to a higher plain if you can truly grasp all the nuances and appreciate them. When you play music, you can just...let go everything and melt with the musical innuendos and such...
That pot smoking, douchebag skater stereotype is definately true at my school. A lot of the skaters at my school suck. Old school skateboarding is awesome though, when skaters actually skated. But I like music way more so I'd rather play guitar.
As a perfession? Neither. Both would be horrible to do for a living. I love skating, and do it alot. But come on. I'm 15 and my knees are shot. I have trouble standing up on occasion, they make horrible cracking/popping sounds. I broke a few bones doing it, arm and nose, and have gotten countless bruises on my arms legs, chest, tail bone, you name it I've buised it. There is a few years a of fame, and your done. You can't do it any more. Gutiar, well that just dosn't sound great to me.
If you are looking for a career, definitely go with guitar. You can be alright in music to be heard and get your name out there, but with skateboarding you have to stand out from the rest, be exceptionally good. With guitar, there's also more success, more people like music opposed to those who like to watch skateboarding. Music also makes people happy, and it's a real enjoyment to perform and see that you make other people happy; I think thats all the incentive you need. Guitar is the better choice.
Guitar because, the first time I saw a guitar, I was really interested in it, more then skateboards. Beside, I'm a fat dude. It's better for me to play guitar then skateboards.
