I see you have a sub-forum for programmers seeking and offering assistance, but I am currently in school for audio production, and when I graduate I want to work the game audio field. I was mainly looking for a forum that I, or others could offer a service that doesn't involve programming, to anyone that might need it, weather it be a full game or just a few sounds, just so I can get some experience.
The programmers thread would still be a great place to let people know what you do and what you are interested in. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there making games that need someone to handle the audio tracks.
Using the Art Music and Writing section and the Programming section together would be good. You will get feedback etc in AMW and opportunities in the Programming section.
But don't make identical threads in both sections ._.
Either the Programming Help forum or the Art, Music, and Writing forum would probably work for you. If you are testing sound and want peoples opinion, post it in AMW where people can hear it and give you feedback. If you want more technical support, you can find it in the PH forum. Programming Help isn't really just limited to programming, but also help with other programs, flash development, etc.
