do you guys think that we should be able to have our own personal uploads for armatars? why or why not? and what do you think the rules for it should be?

i think that it wouldnt be a bad idea to let us be more individual with our likes. i love the fact that we have so many armatars and you have to earn all of them but i have had them all for so long and the wouldnt mind having my own. i think if a person has unlocked all then we should be able to submit to an admin or mod who then can give us the go ahead or deny on it.

whats your stand?

Er, don't you know what a pentagram is?

Orion, I don't see why half of the WEPR would be angry at you. Yes, some would be startled but not half of the entire WEPR. Funny how the pentagram itself wasn't associated negatively with Satanism until sometime during the 20th century. It was used in Christianity long before that.

As for me, I'd put up an image of an edited photo, something I really like or something awesome.

I like the idea that you can submit them to mods for aproval. That would deal with any problems some armatars would present.


Seeing as pretty much every other forum on the net has this feature why would it be such an issue here?

Personally I look forward to gaining AP to see what armatars I could get next. Having the ability to make your own would completely defeat the purpose. I like the fact that there is more than one reason for earning AP. However the fact that you cap out, could be a little frustrating. I agree that you should be rewarded after you cap out by gaining allowance to post your own. Also the fact that so few are at that stage, it would not be a problem of an overload for reviewing distasteful images.

On the pentagram subject. I don't see how this symbol would offend anyone any more than a crucifix, or the star of David. But it is a great example of the problems that may occur between whether an image may or may not be appropriate. I don't see any real positive reason behind changing the current set up. If anything updating the current images may be a good approach in making everyone happy.

i think its because its more of a younger based site but, i still think we should be able to with certain rules and what not. it all just depends on what the final rulings and who would make them.

If anything updating the current images may be a good approach in making everyone happy.


now there is a good idea... im sure most people would like to see the old ones to stay and keep a similar format but i would love to see some more and not just fan art ones that they have recently added... dont get me wrong i love the fact that they have the fan art ones but i would just like to see some more BA ones xD

crud i forgot to add another point to this...

one thing that gets me with the armatar system is that on a holliday you can choose a seasonal armatar wich is great and all... but lets say you want to change it for a day or two... you may never be able to get it back sad because i have had that happen and the next year that armatar isnt even there. maybe they could make the normal section how it is but a little updated and then have different sections for hollidays and what not

This belongs in the suggestion area, and I don't think this would work out too well but it would be interesting to have my own avatar that no one else has

i rather keep AG theme ... thats what makes this site special .. its personal avatars 'armatars' ..

a cool idea would be a sort of armatar customizing where you can put what you like and dont like in the avatar...

like that south park page
