Dr. Pepper FTW! I'm a junkie. I ALWAYS have Dr. Pepper in front of me(unless i'm drinking a beer) I also have 2 Dr. Pepper t-shirts and a pair of Dr. Pepper pajama pants (yes, I'm an addict)
Hmm.. I am of mixed heritage so I could share a few dishes.
I'll just share one right now.
In the Philippines, people eat adobo. The name itself refers to the method of cooking. So you could have pork adobo, or chicken adobo. Probably my favorite Philippine dish ever.
I live in Italy. But I don't want to write a poem about food. You know, we have the best food in the world (if you don't belive me try to pay a visit). My top favourite food is melanzane alla parmigiana.
Yeah. Probably it is all a matter of being used to. I still don't understand how people can actually eat McDonald's food. Maybe I am spoiled, but you can point the finger on a coutnry and tell their "national dish". But, not with Italy; you can travel 100 kilometers and find another "tipical dish", different from before.
Not really. Though some countries do have that one quintessential dish or often stereotyped cuisine. Others don't. Apparently Italy doesn't too.
Though I can say that it is a stereotype to instantaneously think of pasta and pizza when Italian cuisine comes to mind.
As for fast food, it's more an issue with one's tastes and preferences. If you always eat good food, you won't find yourself addicted to the scourge of fast food. Eh, some people who eat better even hate eating such greasy and oily food. I, don't really care about the greasiness itself, except for when it comes to nutrition and health.
