What's up AG! I'v been browsing through your Forum Games, you guy's got some Interesting Ideas. So I'v decided to present my own and first FRPG, with some quick drawings and set-ups.. Welcome To
What is The Kingdom of Armuin? Taking a somewhat Medieval/Reality and Fantasy, Kingdom of Armuin is a RPG where you can 1) Choose a Race. 2) Choose a Class. 3) Fight, Explore, Lead Groups, Develop Guilds, Relax, Go to the Tavern, Earn achievements or simply run around naked.
What is The Story? What do I have to do? The Lore: North Armuin has gone Rogue, the Monarchy of all these Races have collapsed under an unknown pressure. Hostile Guild seeking Independence have risen up under several powerful new leaders, however the North Territory of South Armuin has contained a bottle-neck battle in the small peninsula. The Situation is minimal for now, and South Armuin is blissful to it. However as always, events will unfold, leading to several outcomes of what the Kingdom of Armuin will become.
Events? I will be declaring events of battle, Festivals, Sales, Raids, and even Natural Disasters. Please keep in mind, what your Character does will possibly effect the outcome of Series of Events.
World Map (Currently Play-able) Yellow Dots: Grand Cities, Where you can rest and regenerate safely. Use the training ground to gain exp. (lvl 1-5 effective) Do certain Missions, and do Trade Items on the Market(Other Players). Green Dots: Small Villages, where you can manually trade with other Characters and safely regenerate health. Lower chance of Missions applied here. Red Dots (Light, Medium, Dark): This is the Traveling Road. Where you will find and fight hostilities on your Journey. Dark dots are the easier hostiles (Level 1-5). The Medium Dots are stronger (5-10). Light Dots (10-15).
Character Creation First choose a Race. Gurvian Giants. (Your starting point will be Gurva City) Hew Gnomes. (Your starting point will be Highn city) Ohailen Humans. (Your starting point will be Ohailen) There is no magic in this FRPG. You will all start as a Young Peasant, unskilled and untrained, and in yourHome Territory.
However when you Hit level. You can specialize! A Paladin will always do a great amount of damage with Melee, and will usually have quite alot of Stamina and Strength. However they cannot regenerate their own health once wounded. Perk: +5 Stamina from the beginning, and a bonus +2 to Stamina every level gained from 2-15.
Hunters, as fast and cunning as they are, will deal a medium damage from afar, they usually have quite alot of Agility. Perks: They have the ability to do x2 damage to enemy "layers" once paired with another hunter, and a small capability to heal themselves with certain items, a somewhat all rounded class.
With a great knowledge of natural remedies, and health. Perks: The cleric can gather herbs, and produce the power to heal and nurture his team-mates/himself before and after battles. With Alchemy he produces medium dmg. Firebombs and Toxic gas. Usually have a quite high knowledge. However his attacks are low when focused upon enemy "layers".
Rules? How do I play this? -You may travel only by the "Circle Routes" Starting from your starting point. Be reasonable with the time (Not controlled, I try not to be linear, incase you want to pick up a flower) as you are traveling across a huge continent. -Each time you travel from "Circle", change your Character sheet to the appropriate Area. (A1) -Each time your traveling across a "Circle" you will encounter a hostile according to "Circle's" level. Either Fall back to the previous Circle or attempt to fight it. -You will gain EXP depending if you won (Level1: /10exp Level 2: /20exp) You will gain exp according to the enemy you have slain. -If you lost/Die you start from the the closest Village/City with 1/Hp. -You only have 3 Inventory Slots. -Armor Avaible to wear: Gloves/Pants/Helmet/Shirt -You gain +2 to all Stats once you level up. +3 to Stats your class uses (After level 5) -1-5 Hostiles give 2exp. 5-10 Gives 5exp. 10-15 gives 10exp. -When fighting players , refer to the Perks in "Character Creation" etc. Other rules are basic,I trust you know how a RPG works.
Hostiles/Combat System Hostiles can be either the "Hostiles from the Circles" or Players that you encounter on the circles. Combat System: Your Stamina amount is your Health. Which can be increase by armor and levels. Damage is in direct proportion to your Class Attribute (Hunter = Agility, Paladin = Strength). Can be increased by your weapon. When attacking a player, Actions must be stated: -Targets "homo13" and with a swing of the axe strikes his shield. Dealing 5Dmg. Lowering his total health to 3/8. -Opponent has to respond to your actions within at least 24 hours otherwise you win the fight and Claim your prize money and exp. (10 x Opponent Lev.) -Pay attention to the Class Perks, state above in "Character Creation". (-If your a Hunter: Gouj uses Cloth Bandage Rap, gains 10hp. you can only use it if you have the item, and you can only carry 3 anyway.)
Possible Hostile Opponents: 1-5: -Bear, Wolf, Thief, Bandit, etc. Be creative on what they look like and what they will loot they will give, not too absurd tho.
Character Sheet This is how your Character sheet should look like after 3 levels. Note that you have 1 of every Attribute at level 1. Name: Gouj Race: Gurvian Class: Gurvian Peasant (change it accordingly when you reach level 5) Level: Lv.3 [7/30exp.] Location: Health: 7hp [+2Armor] [+5 Stat] Damage: 6dmg [+1W] [+5 stat] Weapon: Standard Gurvian Axe Armor: Linen Hat[+1stamina] Linen Shirt[+1st.] Leather Gloves [+1Stre.] Inventory: [1/3] Wolf's Pelt Stats: [5]Stre.
