Well I guess the title says it all, I was just wondering who ya'll thought were the most active 'forumers' in this part of the AG forum. Opinions, that what this Forum is going to be, pure opinions, and yes you can say 'Me'.
Ha,ha,ha,ha my screen wouldn't show it all, just one single horizontal line of text on an iMac screen, you know a huge screen.
Yeah, my firefox popped it up right away, no issues, and I have crappy wireless internet through my cellular company.
TITIN is here! (Again)I think thats a better example, and it loads faster too.
Ahh proteins....So popular these days.
I got instantly ofcourse I had to scroll for a minute to see the entire thing, but I saw it.
An eight minute sample of Titin. The single line version of the Titin page lagged my browser up.
And that isn't even the whole word, the whole word would be 2 hours and 8 minutes. Thats.....huge!
I am confused wat are people talking about
Along with the longest word, I decided to find the longest word with no vowels (in the Oxford English Dictionary).Twyndyllyngs
It is not a word
What do you mean it is not a word?First of all, it is not english, but welsh. However, the word does appear in the Oxford English Dictionary.
Yes it's a word Howlettee and it means twin and it comes from Welsh.@alexstargazerIsn't y a vowel?
No, y isn't an English vowel. A, E, I, O and U are the only English vowels.
When they say no vowels, they mean the five main vowels (a,e,i,o,u). But otherwise you could count y as a vowel. I must leave to run now, but when I come back, I will hopefully find some other interesting words and such.
In Swedish the vowels are A, E, I, O, U, Y and the signs (found here) numbered 228, 229 and 246. (Did that cause AG doesn't support those letters)
