Ah.. Well he wasn't too famous.

WB aside, can anyone think up iconic cartoon characters that infiltrated pop culture? Yeah, I think it'll be easier to think of cartoon characters at the moment.

Eh, Mickey Mouse?

^ While not an official topic, talk about Kirby overshadowed bear discussion in the aforementioned pages.

Daffy over Donald any day... I just don't like how Donald wears shirts but not pants.

Elmer Fudd, there had to be someone that liked him...

He kinda looks like my dad. Talks a little like him too, but my dad's isn't as pronounced.
Hmm... How about Yosemite Sam?

Eh, Mickey Mouse?

Almost as creepy as Ronald McDonald in my opinion, and even more racist.

Thar we go, douple post

Why would you...? Just tell people to look the the previous page, jeez.

I don't like the fact that the movies had too much storyline, and all it was was senseless violence, why does everybody like that?

I think this contradicts itself. Too much storyline, not enough violence is how it really went down.
Mostly whenever anybody tries to explain why they dislike something it never ends because then people are going to question why they hate it and so on and so forth.

It ends when people get their answer. If you simply gave one, this wouldn't be happening.

I take that as a compliment.

Most people wouldn't.

My favorite pop culture icon would have to be... The Bride, from Kill bill.

Back to cartoons, did you all forget Mr. Magoo, Grape Ape, Magilla Gorilla, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Pepe le Pew, Deputy Dawg, Scooby Doo... I could go on and on about pop culture cartoon icons. Although I suspect that a lot of you aren't old enough to remember half of these...

Excellent.

@MRWalker

I do remember Rocky and Bullwinkle, Pepe le Pew (darn skunk) and Scooby Doo (of course). As for the others, they probably never aired here. I think I remember Magilla Gorilla. Eh, I don't know.

@Google567

Thanks.

As for iconic cartoon characters... There's also Garfield and Snoopy.

Sadly we aren't, most of us grew up with 90s, 00s cartoons.

I love the Nicktoons of the 90s.

Back on topic with icons, there's Tom and Jerry of course.

He might be an awesome pop-culture icon, but not a very useful one xD

Bugs Bunny ftw.
