I am going to get a new dog within the next couple of days, he's still a baby, and is still eating from his mom. He's a Pit Bull, and I have narrowed it down to two choices. Either Asclepius or Tanner. Please post your opinion, and you can even post your own ideas of names, and please don't write Slayer, Killer, Terminator etc.

How about Sirius? Canis Major right there... Or Procyon? Name (I think) of Canis Minor.

Someone was drunk or high, I know it! There is no way a sober person comes up with a name like that.

Or worse... Named after a relative.

Ancient Greek names for a dog I can think of are: Arion, Castor and Leander .

I would go with Dio, not only because of the musician who recently passed away, but it's a cool name, it's associated with metal, and it means God (which is dog if you have dyslexia)

Hmm . . . if the dog is black, Nyx. Otherwise, Khaos(pronounced 'Kowss' is classy.

Nyx, I like that, and Chaos, well that's sort of taken. Ewwww no definitely not Max, gross. Altair hmmmmm I like it but I'm not fond of a words (Oh wow. And Dio, still short for the godnof intoxication, wine, insanity, etc. etc.
