Are you thankful of what you have or not? My dad has taught me to thank god every time I earn things or receive gifts from others. I was taught to be thankful for everything I have and to know when things get out of hand, or I know that some have worse.
Are you thankful for what you have?.. because if you keep wanting and wanting, you can die in a hole and go to hell.
Be thankful and respect the fact your alive, some babies don't even see the light when they die.

So are you thankful for the things you have or not? And why?

I am thankful for the things I have - I don't, however, thank some imaginary sky-fairy. I thank the hard work of the people around me, the people who shaped my life into what it is, the great scientists of history without whom we'd probably still die at age 30. In short, I thank those that came before me and try to repay my debt by being the best person I can be to further the human race.

Some of it are correct and heart softening, but this is....

the great scientists of history without whom we'd probably still die at age 30

Actually without some inventions we could still reach the age of 100

In short, I thank those that came before me and try to repay my debt by being the best person I can be to further the human race.

Ya, I hear you. This is why I encourage people to prevent global warming, so that the future generation can still see the things we can see today.

Well, we could reach old age certainly - but the numbers would be nowhere near the amount that reach 100 today. Think about it! Medicine is a branch of science and as life goes on the more likely we'll catch something horrible. Without modern medicines, we'd be far less likely to survive.
